This. While I think this obviously makes our path tougher, Wtf was Rodgers thinking? ! The NFC has one (only 1!) QB that’s probably elite in Hurts unless you’re still a believer in Dak or Cousins. Meanwhile the AFC has them everywhere. It’s the reason the Niners are still the NFC favorites and their preferred QB might not even play this year. Unreal.
Danny Dimes Pro Bowl coming! LOL

you realize he’s beloved in the locker room in Green Bay right? Where do people get these takes from?Same place all the Beas hate came from I would guess.

I'll go contrarian here: they have their best year yet statistically.

Yes he has KELCE but we got way better Wrs
Fair point, but not plural WR's, 1 WR. To go with the GOAT TE (at worst #2), Mahomes also has the GOAT offensive HC. He could have gotten Shanahan 1 like RG3 did and we would have never known.
Would be a fun one to debate another time, don't want to derail this thread!.

I would trade Allen and Tre for Mahomes any day and twice on Sundays . I love Josh but he’s not on same planet as Mahomes . Plus Mahomes will most likely play 5/6 yrs more then Josh does this trade is far from over I my eyes .
What in was referencing to was we choose to wait on a franchise QB and took corner instead it’s basically the same thing the Giants did with Barkley instead of Allen.
Now do JA with Travis Kelce as his TE.

Agree somewhat, but think Cook, Shakir, Benford, and to an extent Spector redeem it.
Even more so if Elam and Bernard turn the corner.
Now, Araiza and Tenuta… yeah… no.
Araiza - RIP to what could have been a stellar career. Was never so excited to watch us punt the football. He blew it big time.
Not drafting Breece will haunt me similarly to not drafting Russell Wilson in the 3rd rd.

From this report, sounds pretty thin. "Shut up money" to follow and this likely goes quiet.

He has said in the past that the only franchise he would leave NE to join is the Giants.

The NFL has become the AFC + the nfc
nfc now minus Rodgers and Brady. Eagles and Niners the only teams capable of sharing a field with the top tier AFC teams.

Looking back, maybe Jets should have gone the Carr route and let that talented supporting roster develop a bit more. The pressure to compete with Miami/Buf is putting them in what feels like a forced/premature "all in to win" mode. Expectations are going to be very high.
Rodgers vs. that fanbase/media would need to come out of the gates white-hot or things could quickly go south there....OBJ not getting the ball as much as he (his dad) thinks he deserves would only intensify things. These are not team guys.

Yea they are the four scenarios.... not sure I agree with your order. I think:
1) Beane stands pat and takes a 2nd round guy at #27
Rationale: I think anyone outside the top 15 is likely doing this. I don't think there is going to be a mad rush to trade up into the late 1st from teams because of the general weakness of the class and because I think all 4 QBs (most likely trade up targets) are gone by this point.
4) A 1st round talent slides to us at #27
Rationale: I only have 12 first round grades. If you include all 4 QBs that gets you to 15. That is a lot of sliding someone needs to do. It would only be an off-field or injury reason and the Bills under this regime have been very risk averse in those circumstances on draft day.
Typical 1st round grades that slide to 27: MLB, IOL, S, RB Looks good for #4!

Not sure why everyone is so excited about Hopkins. He's too damn old to play football! I mean, it feels like he's been in the game for what? 40+ years??? You people.....sheesh.

Lag in what category? Wasted money?
This wasn't clear? "We will further lag both a division and conference rival in the weapons dept.."
Yeah, DeAndre Hopkins is a waste of money. Let's let KC waste their money on him. And we will save cap! You just solved our conference problem!

We all know that we needed another weapon to step up and trade blows with Cincy/KC/MIA down the stretch. There is no way after the exit we had that Beane is going to bet the season on Gabe/Rookie/and 3 gadgety WR's with potential as possible WR 2's.
The formula is 2 bonafide studs: Cincy, Philly, Miami, TB, Rams (with OBJ) and Niners. KC is a unique situation of HOF (Probably all 2nd GOAT) QB/TE/Coach and a bunch of possession/speed JAG's. Not to be copied - you can't.
Nuk + Diggs puts us in the class of the others mentioned.
IMHO - BBB has a splash move coming.

That whole Jets QB situation was abysmal. But, he did the worst possible thing a young player could do - took his frustrations to the NY media. He was as good as done after that.
Has a good QB (terrible human) now and I am betting he becomes a target hog there.

Wish it worked out here. He came up huge in spots. Great kid, wish him nothing but upside in Houston.
