He has been terrible the last couple weeks but he is far from our only problem.

There isn't 1 thing that needs to be done to fix this team. So many holes on both sides of the ball. This is what happens when the defense doesn't force several turnovers per game and when teams have figured out your offense.

The Jets and NE are both better than Buffalo and will surely have a better record at the end. This is not a playoff caliber team.

They could be playing a double header and still beat down the Bills in the second matchup.

That would set us up nicely to draft a RB.
Yea maybe a small gadget player who can sit the bench and down kickoffs in the endzone.

Uhh. Last year's Packers never even thought about being this terrible...
Playoff teams don't get embarrassed at home and then respond by getting destroyed on the road.

Bad coaching, lack of talent, so on and so forth.
I have 2 questions though.
Why haven't they run a freaking reverse yet with spiller or smith or anyone. Jackson draws so much attention and it will be open. It has been open on the fakes but they never actually run it.
Also why don't we ever bump or jam the other team's WRs? We let them get a clean release every single time. That is bad coaching.

Not sure how the numbers turn out but this has to be the worst Defense in the league. They were opportunistic early in the season and caught some breaks but they were never a good unit. Same old story, can't pressure the QB, can't stop the run, and most importantly can't get off the damn field on 3rd down.

Every remaining game is winnable. All Buffalo has to do is coach and play like its a playoff game. Every game is a MUST win from here on out.
Fortunate ??? To come from behind 2 weeks in a row by 18 or more points is fortunate?

Lol crack pipe?? They made great plays to win those games but how can you say they were not fortunate????? The ball that Fitz threw at the end of the Oakland game and the call they got late in the NE game?
You flat out make my point completely - they were down 18-21 points in both games. The fact that they won means they are fortunate since you can't expect to win those games all the time. They were terrible early in both games. Yes they made plays to pull the games out but caught some huge breaks too.
They could have easily started 1-2. What we have seen the past 5 weeks is an average team. Missing starting players on both sides of the ball and their best defensive player is out for the season.

They are an average team at this point... The defense is much worse than average though.

I'd have to agree at this time with most of the analysts, Buffalo is not one of the best teams left in the race. Buffalo's defense is such a huge question mark right now. They really can't stop anyone at this point. I like the future of this team, but I don't feel good about this season.
I think the Jest win the East, they seam to be getting everything together at this time.
Steelers and/or Ravens should take their division with the other getting one of the wildcards.
Houston takes the South.
Raiders or Chargers will take the West.

Houston
Raiders
WC
Ravens
This leaves one spot left for New England, Cincinnati, Buffalo, San Diego, Tennessee
Out of that group, I've got to say NE takes the last spot, their defense is no better than ours, but you have to give them a little something extra for experience, Brady and Belichek.
If the Bills are going to make it, they are going to have to finish 6-2. I don't think we match up well with the Jets especially in NY and a sweep against NE is highly improbable, so we're going to have to win the rest of the games.
This looks about right - might swap Balt. and Pitt but it is a toss up.
I don't think Cinci gets in because they actually have to play good teams to finish the season. They haven't beaten anyone good with the possible exception of the Bills. NE gets in because of their schedule. Buffalo unfortunately doesn't get in finishing with 9 wins.

Well 1 thing is for sure, Witten will have a huge game. Probably 8-10 grabs for 100+ yards.

Zero threat of the long ball because we don't have the receivers to consistently get deep or the QB to consistently get the ball deep.

I don't exactly feel your optimism although I hope you are right. They have lost 3 of the last 5 games, and were extremely fortunate to have that 3-0 start. This is an average team now and with the mounting KEY injuries on both sides of the ball, .500 ball the rest of the way seems about right to me.
The offense will need to pick it up again like the beginning of the season for the team to have any hope at the playoffs.

The Jets mocking the Bills is nothing new, Last year Whitner whined about the same thing. The only way to stop it is to go out there and kick their butts all over the field, our team failed to do that and were mocked yet again.
Exactly, if they got their feelings hurt because of what they said about them.. do something about it when you play them in a few weeks. This is the NFL, stop whining and man up next game.

So much football left to be played. The upcoming Miami games will not be gimmies for anybody. They will upset some teams late and surely will knock off someone in the AFC East.

Defense couldn't get off the field and the offense couldn't stay on the field. Fitz played his worst game of the year by far. There were plays to be made when guys were open and he missed them badly. Freddie had his worst game as well that fumble was killer and he dropped a TD pass.
Should of stacked WRs a little more to avoid the bumps at the line, work a screen game in w/ fred and cj, split spiller out more - I don't remember seeing him at all.

Well my afternoon just free'd up
