Missing on the 2nd & 3rd rounders is terrible, just like playoff chances since they were acquired. These players need to be core contributors, they have been jettisoned. Finding a starting(on this team) LT and the breakout season for Stevie huge for 7th round finds. McKelvin is still inexperienced or he is just lacking brainpower, as he hasn’t figured out how turn athletic potential into playmaking ability. Corner is a good find in the 4th round. I think he’s our best slot corner. Overall 3 starters on a 4-12 team is a weak draft. Injuries essentially derailed this class’s potential.
  2. "Even if we thought we were working hard before, it's a lot harder now," he added. "It's almost like a welcome to the NFL type of thing." This quote supports my contention that Jauron is a great teacher, and he should be working with kindergartner's not well paid elite athletes. For some of the best information on training check out: www.ericcressey.com - www.robertsontrainingsystems.com - these two guys are changing the way people and athlete's approach training. Sounds like our two new Strength coaches are cut from similar cloth. Hopefully the Bills new movement biomechanics expert and manual therapist will also pay dividends. I believe his name is Dr. Brian Zelasko, DC.
  3. I will be there with my girl. Anyone camping at Bear Creek? Or did y'all opt to take it all in at this place... http://www.greenvalleyinc.net/
  4. Turnovers and 3rd down conversions require 2 things neither of which this organization demonstrates 1) Playmakers 2) Coaches who understand how to put players in position to make big plays. I agree with Tcali.
  5. Since even Ralph's eyes must have seen enough DJ by now... Cowher and Modrak must have worked together in Blitzburgh, unless that period was when Modrak was in Philly. I know Tom & Tom were tight. Tom D. and Cowher had an issue. Would anyone have any idea about Cowher and Modrak's former working relationship? If it were positive that could be a asset in luring Cowher from the studio to the sideline with substantial power in player personnel. Honestly the football acumen vacuum at the top could be a good draw for someone who has had that power before... Cowher, Sherman, Holmgren.
  6. Jauron is like an elementary school teacher... Nice, friendly, teaches you the ABC's, and a couple words, the worst he can do is give you a shameful look. His players know the rules and used to always show up to play... Unfortunately the rest of the NFL is coached by PhD academics cramming something new and different in your face every week. This league is way to competitive for a slow reacting, emotionless, nice guy. I respect him as a man. The fact is our team actually has some talent & we've lost to many teams that have less talent than we do. Jauron and his coaches think the answer to their problem is to work hard at doing what they are good at, so as to do it better. The problem is every other team(& fan) knows what you are trying to be good at, expects it, and developed a way to stop it while you were still in Chicago. If we don't win a game in our division this year that is a clear indication of how far below average our coaching is. Division games are the most influential games for the coaches impact. Finally a team takes on the personality and identity of its leaders... Head Coach, Front office, Owner. Our franchise has no identity, other than heartbreak, & I am not emotionless as I watch this team.
