  1. As grotesque as our line play has been this year, those of you calling for Losman as the starter need your collective heads examined! I honestly believe our line has regressed over the last few seasons. Even when they were half-way decent, Losman had happy feet and was running around throwing picks or fumbling. Today, he'd be sh&ttin his drawers! Personally, I don't think we can draw conclusions on Edwards after just 18 games. Especially with the o-line being as bad as it is. If you stuck Edwards behind the Pats o-line, I bet he'd look like, well, Brady. J. P. Losman is not, I repeat, NOT a starting NFL quarterback. STOP IT!
  2. Rest of the schedule: CLEVELAND (3-6) W @ Kansas City (1-8) W SAN FRANCISCO (2-7) W MIAMI (5-4)W @ New York Jets (6-3) W @ Denver (5-4) L NEW ENGLAND (6-3)W If Buffalo can't come out of the next three games at 8-4, they don't deserve to make the playoffs. I think they will, and I also believe they win in Toronto vs. Miami. I think if they finish 11-5 that'll be good enough to get in, the AFC isn't as competitive as years past. 11-5.
  3. Listen, Dick Jauron isn't exactly the cream of the coaching crop, but lets not compare him to Marv Levy or anyone like that. Buffalo is in a slump right now. Bottom line, if we don't come out of the next 3 games at 8-4, we don't deserve to get to the playoffs and Dick Jauron may make some B.S. decisions, but the talent on this team isn't executing either. Its the WHOLE teams fault that they're playing poorly, not just one guys.
  4. We can only hope NE and him have a fall out and we sign him. Agree 100000000 %
  5. The last thing on this earth I care about right now is the Dallas Cowboys. PERIOD!
  6. Guys who need to rally the troops: 1. Kawika Mitchell - He's got a ring. Plays with intensity...when he wants to. 2. Lee Evans - Another veteran, actually earns his pay. Plays hard. 3. Trent Edwards - Time to put that Stanford education to use, smart guy! 4. Dick Jauron - As Dick Vermeil once said, time to take the diaper off. Get in someone's face, Dick! 5. Donte Whitner - Even if he's not playing, he's an emotional leader and needs to slap someone around. Guys who need to Shut the hell up and listen to the guys above: 1. Jason Peters - He goes to the Pro-Bowl one time, now Mr. Superstar is being embarrassed by every DE he plays against. 2. Leodis McKelvin - Rule #1, rookie: Don't celebrate a long KR you didn't even score on when you're down 20-3. 3. James Hardy - I picked him to be the unsung hero last week, and did catch the only TD for Buffalo, but effort is an issue. 4. Marshawn Lynch - When you get your number called, even though they're few and far between, don't dance so much. 5. Robert Royal - First downs are not touchdowns, don't celebrate themas such. (In between drops of course!)
  7. Staying on my unaggressive point, Buffalo would never sign Bill Cowher. Buffalo never signs anyone with a big name, player or coach. They'd probably promote Fewell or Schonert, cuz thats how they roll.....
  8. No, I don't see anyone rushing out to sign him. But can we really do any worse than we are now? Give him or Simeon Rice a shot, worst case scenario, we still don't get pressure, but the Bills would've shown the fans they tried to fix it. Oh, and by the way, the Jets just signed Ty Law (another wash up...or is he?). You know, the same Jets who picked off Trent twice two weeks ago and allowed only three points to the Rams last week. Its called being aggressive. Its called improving and adding DEPTH. Its called trying to make yourselves better even at 6-3. Its also called making a CONSCIOUS effort to end the New England dominance. I know their our division rivals, but good for the Jets. At least someone is trying to improve themselves in the division.
  9. Sure, but is Mr. Wilson going to be all that crazy about keeping a guy who let 4-0 and 5-1 go straight down the toilet?
  10. In my opinion, Buffalo is looking now like the worst 5-4 team in the NFL. And if they think the "easy" part of the schedule is going to do them any favors, they better think again. If the Bills aren't attempting to fix their problems this week and still think they're going to beat Cleveland and Brady Quinn on Monday Night, they're sadly mistaken. The way this team is playing and coaching right now, a pee-wee team (or the Detroit Lions) could blow them out this week. What do we always say builds a winner? Running the football, protecting the quarterback, pressuring the opposing quarterback, and winning the turnover battle. Um, the Bills are doing none of the above mentioned. Say what you want about injuries, but the team that we lost to last week is the class of our division for a reason, they just don't use it as an excuse. This is why depth in the NFL is so vitally important, and why there is free-agency, to add depth. There's nothing wrong with Dick Jauron having confidence in his starters, but what are the odds that NOBODY is going to get hurt through sixteen weeks? The Bills have no formitable depth at ANY postition. RB you say? Sure, if they HAD a running game. If this team doesn't find a pass rush and/or make a move soon to pick up a defensive end, they can forget it. They just aren't aggressive enough when people get hurt like Aaron Schobel. If this team doesn't commit more to the run, they can forget it. If the multi-million dollar line doesn't start performing like a million bucks, they can forget it. If this team doesn't commit to the run more, they can also forget it. Oh, and by the way, if they want the postseason bad enough, they need to correct ALL of these, not just one or two. Like I said, these aren't minor things anymore. Every week we're seeing this stuff. This isn't a virus anymore...it's an epidemic. Good luck in fixing the Bills, Mr. Ivy League! Your job depends on it.
  11. ....As of right now, emphatically, YES! Look at each team. The Patriots have a genius coach, a smart QB who manages the game well, and depth. The Jets we're 4-12 a year ago and were smart enough to go out and get a future hall of fame QB to pull them out of it. Good recievers, smart defense, smart coach. The Dolphins were smart enough to bring in Bill Parcells as their President of Football Operations, get an experienced QB who still has something to prove, clean up Ricky Williams as a complement to Ronnie Brown, and be aggressive on D. Now, look at the Bills: NOT aggresive in free agency. NO depth, OVERPAID-UNDERPERFORMING-OUT OF SHAPE-LAZY offensive line. Passive coach. QB thats losing confidence QUICK. Yes, the Bills are in trouble.
  12. To all my fellow Bills fans: Last week I guaranteed that the Buffalo Bills would in fact defeat the New England Patriots. I was wrong. For some reason, I thought our team was still good enough, even after two bad losses, to beat a bunch of backups. I was wrong, again. I had said before the Patriots' game that Trent Edwards was going to show if he was either the next Jim Kelly or the next Rob Johnson...he's apparently the next Rob Johnson. We need to face facts! Good football teams beat good football teams. Its how you're measured in the NFL. Fact: The Buffalo Bills are still the same mediocre team they've been in the last 8 years. I love them just as much as you all do and hate them just as much as you all do this week. If you really think about it, Buffalo is VERY FORTUNATE to be 5-4! The only game they've really dominated this year was the Seattle game. The managed to pull a Houdini against the Raiders, barely woke up enough to beat the Rams, and if Kawika Mitchell didn't intercept Phillip Rivers in the end-zone, they probably would've found a way to lose to the Chargers. Otherwise, they're 2-7! And they deserve to be 2-7. They're frauds! Just like ESPN and everyone else called them! Doesn't matter if they beat Cleveland on Monday Night, K.C. the next week or San Fran the next. Sure, if they do they'll be 8-4, but still 0-3 in the division. Fact: If you want to make the playoffs you MUST win in your division. It may do Buffalo no good to go 11-5; 10-6. Because the last three games are going to haunt the Bills for the rest of the year. I've been loyal to this team for a long time. And this may make me sound like a quitter, but my loyalty to this franchise is beginning to fade, FAST.
  13. ...do you think anybody is going to give us a lick of credit for it? Think about this, every team Buffalo beat this year has a losing record right now. When we were 4-0, did anybody say we were for real? HELL NO. It was "The Buffalo Bills are 4-0 but they haven't beaten anybody." So, even if we win, what are we going to hear? "Yeah, Buffalo beat New England but they didn't have Tom Brady, Lawrence Maroney or Rodney Harrison." I'm so sick of hearing this B.S.! Does anyone say this about teams like Philly. My best friend is an Eagles' fan and I've had to listen to his big mouth for years. Philly has beaten San Fran and Seattle their last two games. WHO HAVE THEY BEATEN? I hope Buffalo doesn't just beat the Patsies on Sunday, but SLAUGHTERS them!
  14. On ESPN.com he picked the Bills! Guess he's starting to be like Strahan on FOX. LOL
  15. I'm sorry, just can't help myself! All this negativity just kills me. If you guys stop and think about it, the idea of us losing this weekend to the Pats* is a joke! Only was we lose is if we beat ourselves with turnovers. Sorry, but its football friday, I'm PSYCHED!
  16. Jeez! I guess we ought to just forfeit on Sunday! Our secondary is depleted, we've lost 3 games and now we're ready to run Edwards, Jauron, Fewell and Schonert outta town, we're going to a building we've never one in, a city we haven't won in in 8 years, and our confidence is at an all time low. Hell, we may as well just bend over for the Patriots, like we're they're little bitches! I mean, we lost four straight SuperBowls, they've won 3 and went undefeated in the regular season last year. Gosh! We don't stand a chance given all that.....or.......maybe.....we circle the wagons once again.....
  17. Somebody needs to tell him to tuck his shirt in, cuz he's got Welker this Sunday!
  18. I'd like to hear from some of you guys on you're favorite and not-so-favorite T.V. commentators of the NFL, just to get YOUR minds off of Sunday a little bit. Just a note, Dick Enberg and Randy Cross are doing the game this Sunday, two of my LEAST favorite. Favorites-1. Joe Buck (Maybe the best EVER, IMO) 2. Al Michaels (Legendary, hope he never goes away) 3. Gus Johnson (Gets right into the game, maybe a little too much, but is exciting to listen to) 4. Greg Gumbel (Never really sounds like he's pulling for one team or another, much better than in studio) 5. Kevin Harlan (adds spunk to pretty much every play) Worst- 1. Dick Enberg (he's a homer, period. I dont think I've ever heard him shout "OH MY" for the visiting team--uh oh) 2. Mike Tarico (This guy is doing MNF??? Hes' horrible, period.. And his cohorts don't do him any favors.) 3. John Madden (Madden used to be fun to listen to, now he's just a Dallas D*Ck Rider) 4. Dan Dierdork..I mean Dierdorf- he pretty much makes nothing sound terrible. 5. Tony Siragusa (only reason he's on the field covering games is because they couldn't fit him in the booth)
  19. I got Dan Orlovsky-DET. Ya know, the guy who ran out of the back of the endzone a few weeks ago?
  20. I don't know what it is about the guy, but he almost ALWAYS picks the Bills to win, don't know if its just to get under Greeny's skin or what. He did again this week. See, there's onther "dillusional" people who pick the Bills besides me this week!
  21. This will be my last post until after the game on Sunday. And he'res hoping that after we beat the Pats* on Sunday I'm not reading all the posts of how were going to the SuperBowl. When we lose, we suck. When we beat the Pats Sunday, it will be a big win, but we will still have 7 games to play. See ya'll Monday...with level heads!
