  1. the Bills have been close to drafting a QB in the first round in each of the last two years. in 2010 they almost moved up to get Tim Tebow and last year in 2011 would have taken Cam Newton at #3 overall if he was there......is 2012 the year ??

    Ranked #11 overall by NFLDraftScout.com

Tannehill waits for chance to prove he's top 10 material:

We Live and die by Fitz right now. 6 yr 60 million says so and if this front office drafts Tannehill with pick 10 I will fly up to Buffalo and kick the everloving s#$t out of Buddy Nix to where when he wakes up he'll have a northern accent

  2. Thats a great point. Buddy Nix has not said anything about his intentions publicly with out backing it up. Thats what i really like about him.

I was watching this deal closely before I had an opinion on Buddy. This indeed was a homerun for a few reasons. 1 is we did'nt overpay. 2 is we retained our OWN GOOD PLAYERS!. when was the last time we could say that. It has been a revolving door at 1 Bills drive for years and I truly believe that is why this team can not take the next step. You build from within and don't pay for overpriced free agents. This also sends a message to the mid tier free agents that say come in here for a yr or two yrs and perform and get rewarded with a good long term contract. These players opinion of Buddy is that He's a man of his word...I think that says alot about Buddy and the direction this team seems to be heading.

  3. Seriously, last december I posted about not overpaying Stevie. Well done Buddy. Dont know if the numbers for his contract are finalized yet but more up front money with a little over 6.5 a year is dead on for what Stevie is worth. Dont know if we got a hometown discount or what but...GREAT WORK front office....bout f#$@ing time you did something right.

  4. Here are mine in no particular order:

#1 Buffalo Bills post 1999 to present

#2 Buffalo Bills post 1999 to present

#3 Buffalo Bills post 1999 to present

#4 Buffalo Bills post 1999 to present

#5 Buffalo Bills post 1999 to present

For real why should I invest in this team financially

    And emotionally again???

  5. I hate to be the one to come out and say it but its over. Blast me for being a doom and gloomer...fine. Gailey did an admirable job with this bunch in the first half of the season but you can't polish a turd. This team has not got significantly better an ANY position and injuries aside the lack of depth is astounding. I'm tired of hearing the excuses. This team is weak in all aspects and now I think giving Fitz an extension was premature. I don't care if you blast me, I am sick and tired of excuses. today's abyssmal performance was the epitome of what will happen the rest of the year.... the jets will blast us next week and then the ball rolls from there. Will we ever be good again? looking for that ray of hope....not seeing it though :bag:

  6. Like Fitzpatrick at QB, Stevie is not an elite talent at his position. He is an above average receiver and I would like him to stay but am hoping they can come to an agreement on something that is not ridiculous. Otherwise, I'd let him walk. He is not a home run receiver. He is not a difference maker like Larry Fitzgerald, Calvin or Andre Johnson or even like the younger guys like AJ Green.

    THIS

  7. 84 yards against Revis. Most by any receiver in 3 years against Revis. Better than A. Johnson, L. Fitzgerald, B. Marshall, W. Welke, R. Moss.. He flat out beat the #1 CB in the league on a 52 yard strike. But yea he sucks, doesn't play like other #1's..... Oh wait.

Again play like a number 1 before you ask for number 1 money...who can say he is right now? what happened to stevie from the beginning of the season?...he hurt?

  8. We lost 2 games in a row, its not the end of the world. You guys are a bunch of KNEE JERK REACTIONISTS. I know we are playing like garbage, but every team does during the year, we've played above our potential most of the year. I know its not been a fun few weeks, but seriously its not time to gut the talent we have on the team. DO YOU WANT DONALD JONES BEING OUR #1 NEXT YEAR?!?!?!?![/b] I didnt think so. God I cant stand TBD after a loss.

ALL I'm saying is play like you deserve number 1 money! Donald jones?!? he is the absolute worst receiver on our team. I am not saying cut SJ but he doesn't deserve number 1 money with the way he is playing that is what I'm saying.

  9. Hear me out. Stevie Johnson wants to be extended and be paid like a number 1 receiver right? Well i think the prerequisite for making number 1 money is playing like that. I remember hearing Fitz say that he thought Stevie Johnson was one of the best receivers that he has ever seen getting off the line when the defense press covers. Yet in the last 2 games he has been jammed at the line almost all game. I got news for everyone on here and all the people that think we have arrived. Think again. Charlie casserly just did a piece on this. The bills are a timing based offense. We throw quick hitch routes and timing slants. That is how our offense operates. Take that away and this offense is sunk. We do not have the physical receivers to fight through being jammed at the line anywhere on this roster. Stevie Johnson wants 9 or 10 million dollars a year?!?! WTF!?!? The persona that this latest edition of Buffalo Bills is developing is that of a creampuff which is soft and susceptible to a physical team. I am through with the speed guys and the " high motor" guys. Until we get big tough strong physical receivers and overall players for that matter. This is what we will see from here on ot getting overmatched physically on offense and defense. Stevie wants number 1 money he should be a number 1 receiver period. In a contract year he is disappearing and playing mediocre football. Flame away

  10. Today's loss was in many ways a reality check. I am glad that this team has so much heart and will to win

that it has over-achieved. However, they still have a significant talent deficit against the upper-eschelon

teams in the league. I don't think that they will be able to overcome that talent deficit down the stretch and

they will likely not make the playoffs.

I am encouraged to see that the talent level is well above what it has been in the past, however this team

is still devoid of pass rushers. It lacks a legitimate starting WR across from Stevie Johnson. It has an

than OK, but still mediocre TE. It does not have elite CBs and the Safeties are OK, not great. I haven't even

touched on the LT, but they have fared alright there and QB is fair-to-midland.

I like Fitzpatrick. He is clearly the best QB that they have had in the last decade, but he is not a GREAT QB

who can overcome big problems and he doesn't have a very strong supporting cast.

I expect this team to continue to fight and be competitive all year, but in the end, they will be better than

last year, but not playoff calibre.

We talked about statement games all year. The Bills were aware that as tight as the afc east is and will be for the rest of the season they could ill afford to come out and lay an egg. They did and as was evidenced by our offense thinking they could come out and play their offense without adjusting to the defenses that were in front of them shows us that A. gailey was not prepared. B. Fitzpatrick seemed desperate trying to fit the ball in tight spaces in double and sometimes triple coverage. There were no "adjustments" made at the half and we actually thought we could just come out and show the jets more of the same crap that wasn't working in the first half. I am upset that i actually bought into the bills success too early and drank way too much of the kool aid. This team is clearly not ready for the next step just yet.

  11. Winning puts us up 3 games in front of the Jets and gives us tie breakers against NE and the Jets

The Patriots play the Giants, the giants are good enough to beat them, which would put us up 2 games past them

I think we pull out a win at the ralph against the Yets ( i call them that cause they have yet to do s#@$!) I think Freddy has a big day against a completely overated D and Sanchez proves yet again why he should be holding a clipboard

  12. I have a friend of mine that's going to be in Vegas for work till early next year and is looking for a Bills fans gathering spot. Does anyone know of a good one somewhere in the vicinity of UNLV? Thanks

All those Bars are good. I like Johnny Macs the best they have killer wings and every tv shows the game it gets rowdy in there. I just moved to Sacramento but lived in Vegas for 8 yrs.. that was my goto bar.

  13. Here's where everyone disagree .... Leodis is a good corner.... he struggles against freakish WRs ..... but in the last two games he done well against his man.....Mcgee is back and made some plays....

Now.... can we ever get to the QB? I don't know..... its just a lack of imagination....

There is your problem right there. We have zero pass rush and with that being the case you can have 4 db's with red capes sticking out of their uniforms and your not gonna win many games. We made plays in those other games that won us those ball games...asking your db's to do it every week is not fair to them

  14. I hate to be captain obvious again but does this guy want to show up at the ralph this sunday? If he is not injured ( something he tells me he's more hurt than he's leading on to)he needs to get a pass rush going today. The advantage for him is vick loves to roll to his side. He has to get after Vick period. I'm tired of hearing that he needs to be brought along slowly and get back to form...BULLBUTTER he needs to produce

  15. I know. I know. "At the Stadium, You Mouthbreathing Idiot". For those of us who WON'T be at the game, where will you be?

I'm going to be in a hotel room in Calgary, watching it on NFL Gamepass. Wearing my Bills T-shirt, and wearing it proudly.

A million years ago, I remember being in a van with family and friends on the way to the 1990 AFC Championship, listening to the pre-game on the radio. I'd slogged my way to every home game that season, and I lived in New Jersey at the time. That's a lot of slogging! As the snow whirled around the van, it suddenly hit me - and I had to share it with the rest of the family - "You know, if we win this, we're going to the Super Bowl". I accept that this sounds stupid, but as a lifelong fan of this franchise, you keep a game-at-a-time mentality. It had only just occurred to me that there was...you know...hope.

    This feels the same.

Wish It was the ralph but since i am in Sactown Ca i'll be goin to a sportsbar called Blutos...i'm sure there will be some bandwagon Pats fans I may need to slap if they anger me

  16. Please please please if you could help my beloved Buffalo Bills win tomorrow. Haven't we Bills 12th man suffered enough? its been so long since the city of Buffalo has had something to cheer about! do you realize that the sun shines brighter on Monday after a win. That work isn't so long and bad after a win! That We are able to watch highlight shows after a win! It has been awesome to watch the last two weeks with my 2 kids explaining to them how much fun it was during the super bowl years. See Bill billacheat has won a enough and Tom Brady well we all know he is Satan so it is time to right the world before it ends next year! so please let us win! Thanks bills fans every where

    Amen.....(if that helps)

  17. With Roscoe on IR Brian Galliford reported that Brad Smith is getting more reps at WR. I don't know how reputable he is but if what he reports is true I like it. Smith is dangerous in the open field and a fairly good target. I'm wondering if they'll kick Nelson out wide and use Smith in the slot?

    Buffalo Rumblings

Even better would be fake the qb keeper on 3rd and 2 around the end and have spiller kick out on a seam route last second and have Smith throw him a bomb...would love to see it

  18. Ok. We know that Tom Terrific gets rattled under pressure. Since New Englands Defense sux monkey nuts there are two ways to approach this pre playoff playoff game. 1) We need to hang points early and often on this suspect pass defense.and 2) SHAWNE MERRIMAN WHERE ARE YOU!?!?! Seriously, mind showing up to the stadium and doing something!?! With a decent pass rush and pressure from the usual cast ( KW,Dareus, and i cant believe i'm sayin it Kelsey) we might just pressure brady into a few costly mistakes. The giants proved in the super bowl if you rattle little Tommy's cage, he might get huffy and red. At least thats my take...your thoughts?
