  1. I got a 15...but should have been a 16...Bills leading receiver in Super Bowl 27 was Andre Reed. I knew it was wrong, cuz Bill Brooks (not Bucky) was one of my favorite Bills, and way under appreciated! Bucky was drafted as a CB, and tried to convert to WR when he went to, I believe, the Panthers.

I'm pretty sure that Bucky Brooks was drafted as a speed wr then later converted to db since he couldn't catch.

Bill Brooks' two 3rd down drops in XXVIII scuttled two Buffalo drives in Dallas territory. I can never forgive him for that. I do give him props for those huge twisted fingers.

  2. I only saw two snaps with him in there, and he was a complete non-factor on both. He just runs way past the QB and hopes he forgets about him so he can loop around and get him from behind.

    You know, kinda like Anderson.

So he would be the perfect free agent acquisition for the Bills after the season?

  3. that's the one and only lyndsay petruny, and you'd be hard pressed to find a more capable, versatile or enchanting segment introducer. she's the total package. her milkshake brings all the pats to the yard.

Simply horrible. Unless you're Sean Salisbury.

  4. if you're complaining about those production values than you've obviously never had the pleasure of watching the thurman thomas show. it sounds/looks like it was taped in 1994. i get better production value from my i-phone.

I love the TT set especially the haphazard tacking of his jersey and helmet to the wall in the background. What's up with the non-athletic talent on the hosting side of these jock shows? And, where the hell did the Pats get that ridiculous chick wearing the kepi and zyldjians dangling from her ears?

  5. There's simply no point in letting Parrish go.

Unless they know something medically that we do not, Roscoe's potential to help this team (him and Fitz were lights out in 2010) is far more valuable than the dollar amount he'll command.

I doubt the open-market will slap a price tag on him that we wouldn't be willing to match--again, assuming there's nothing more to his injuries than meets the eye.

I don't understand why everyone is so quick to write him off. IMO, there's a 70-80% chance he stays.

I don;t know if Roscoe returns, but my recollection is that the Bills shelved him though he could have returned this year.

  6. not to get off topic but just read a little bit about Paup and never knew he left with hard feelings about the team and wasnt really happy about the contract he signed with the bills calling it a miscalculation

Where did you read that? I seem to remember Paup loving his time in WNY and a SI story about him at the time saying same. Didn't he also approach the Bills to resign after the Jags released him?

As for '94, it was clear the OL was not the same without Ballard and Wollford. Kelly was in decline and a possession receiver, Bill Brooks, was not a replacement for Lofton in his prime.

The middle part of the season had some fantastic wins versus KC and Miami bracketed by some middling losses. They could not get traction.
