We didn't sign him because he blows. It's pretty simple. He's probably worse than every CB on our roster.
that plus the money.....plus we really like our young guys.....

i'm thinking he was offered a new contract, but the team was doing so well that he decided to wait to possibly get more money. Probably felt that he had a team going deep in the playoffs and a possible superbowl contender. (that's what a lot of us felt at the time). I think he gambled and waited to sign and now the contract has been rescinded by the bills. just guessing based on what's been going on..

My take: He was scared to death to throw another interception on national tv and his confidence was shattered..
instead of throwing the ball on instinct he was looking to long to see if there were any browns in the area who would be able to intercept the ball. By the time he determined it was a safe pass it was too late, the timing was off, the defense had read his eyes and covered the play or else the rush was there and he had to dump the ball off. Or he did not have any confidence that the receiver would be where he was supposed to be and was afraid to let the ball fly early.

I don't think anyone here is qualified to even comment on if his brain is pudding or not. From what i saw he first throws were off the mark. He ended up getting two quick INT's and became gun shy. He kept going to the check down because it was safe.
beg to differ, but i'm qualified. i have a degree from suny@b in philosophy which more than qualifies me....

When he drops back in practice, have somebody shoot him in the back with a paintball now and then.
not the same as a 350 pound or more lineman picking you up and bodyslamming you to the turf all done with the intention of putting you out of the game....

I don't think that his symptoms would be noticeable at the normal level of functioning. And i don't think they could recreate the stress he feels in the pocket during a live game. In practice he knows he's not going to get hit or that somebody is trying to knock him into lala land. It's a different story in a live game when any of the 11 defensive players would love to lay a hurtful hit on him....

i would imagine that playing qb at the nfl level requires instantaneous processing of information and super quick reflexes to carry through with that info. I do believe that there is some residual of the concussion which is affecting his play. I read where increased stress increases the symptoms. I'm not looking for an excuse for trent, just a reason for the drastic dropoff in his play....

I was watching the NFL feed for the first time last night and did not like all the studio talking while the live game was being played. Is that how it works all the time? I wanted to watch the whole game, not listen to their panel of three....

Yeah, also saw him practicing throwing that little red hanky. Unfortunately he hit Tim Connolly of the sabres accidently in the back and now he's out indefinitely with more spine fractures......

I think the biggest problem is that Jauron has a huge voice in the personnel department and with Russ Brandon having a business (non-football) background, it effectively makes Jauron the GM of this team.
