  1. They’re way ahead of you!
  2. And just to be clear, they’re not building it for the Bears. They’re building it because unlike Buffalo, this is the only way they get a Super Bowl. Funny and serious, both. Kelce had 4 TD receptions in a game where he had less than 25 total receiving yards earlier this year.
  3. Mahomes leads in most < 2-yard passing TDs I think.
  4. I was surprised at how quiet it was. Also, the old Texas Stadium was a dump.
  5. Only been to five road Bills games... two at FedEx Field in DC around the turn of the millennium, one at Texas Stadium in the early 2000s, one at the Meadowlands in 1991, and a preseason game at Arrowhead in 1995. Other than getting a beer thrown at me at the Meadowlands (I deserved it and it was worth it - I turned around and raised my arms to the crowd when Thurman scored a last-second TD) and getting the double bird from a very obese woman in the parking lot at Arrowhead pregame (just for wearing a Bills shirt; I didn't say a word), I can't say I had any bad experiences. Truthfully, I've had worse experiences with poorly-behaved fans (of both teams) at the Ralph. That said, most of the places I listed (except the Meadowlands) are relatively tame. There are some places I just wouldn't go.
  6. I guess people aren't old enough to remember Kelly Stouffer.
  7. It’s no fun, but I’d rather be in a big plane like they are (a 767) for something like that. Every time I have to land at ROC in something like that it’s in a damn CRJ bouncing all over the place.
  8. just landed!
  9. I think KC and Cincy will get the 2 and 3 seeds and meet in the divisional round, as happened to us and the Chiefs last year.
  10. Re: tackling.... Steve Tasker made a good point on OBL the other day when he said tackling is just being taught differently these days. Not just in Buffalo, but everywhere, and we're starting to see the consequences of it. Not just in Buffalo, but everywhere. Used to be you would hit above the shoulders or below the knees to knock the ballcarrier off balance, or you'd put your hat right on the ball to knock it out; for safety reasons you can't do any of that anymore, so guys are being taught to try to wrestle ballcarriers to the ground while hopefully holding them up long enough for someone else to get in there and strip the ball out. That's harder to do and I don't think the Bills are the only team suffering from that. We've broken our share of arm tackles ourselves.
  11. I’m just sitting here waiting for the “they’re not focused” thread
  12. There is absolutely nothing like a soul-crushing 6 or 7 minute drive to end a football game while the other team’s QB sits helplessly on the sidelines and their coach starts throwing stuff in frustration. That was masterful. Reminded me of the Kelly years. And as Josh said after the game…those were Ken Dorsey’s calls, and the team just executed.
  13. No kidding. Coming here is getting to be like reading a Jerry Sullivan column over and over again.
  14. And that's the OFFENSE putting up 32/36, too. This wasn't a "fake" 30-point output helped by a couple of defensive or ST touchdowns. Our average drive start was our 21 yard line. And the offense put up a thirty-burger. I hope some of you are beginning to realize just how ridiculous you sound. But I doubt it.
  15. Ravens fans would like to forget it too.
  16. Tawmmy got away with that play for years. It (and the underthrown ball to draw the PI) was one of his staples. And for good measure the RTP would be called as well.
  17. Leave it to Brady to ensure that we can’t even take proper pleasure in his demise.
  18. I was told there were to be no excuses. Just about 40 here 😬
  19. I am of the old breed and I can tell you that I saw and heard and (possibly) did and said things in my day that could hardly be described as “composed and orderly.” This behavior is not new or original. We just grew out of it. The younger generation will become us sooner than they think.
  20. They’ve given Cincy six free points out of stupidity. I’m hoping they win, but this is how it begins.
  21. Burrow, like Herbert, works better when he doesn’t have to think.
