  1. Well...Considering the fact that The Bills completely gave away the Miami and Jets Games I'm not sure this analysis is totally accurate...Yes they beat up on a bunch of poor Teams, but if they had played smarter, and just not made the stupid mistakes they made vs. Miami and NY they would likely be 7-2 right now...That sounds rediculous to say at this point...But it's true...

I don't think it's a matter of The Bills not being good enough, or picking on the weaker NFL Teams...They are good enough...Well...I should say they have enough talent to be good enough...Give this Team and it's talent to a HC who knows what the heck He's doing...To a HC that can instill toughness both mental and physical...They would be just fine...But they are SO poorly prepared and SO incredibly soft in SO many areas they simply look worse than they should...They have VERY little pulse when things are not going their way...They have zero intestinal fortitude...

What Defenses are able to do to this Team is a complete and utter joke...Give ANY DC the knowledge that they can put constant pressure on a QB only Rushing 3 or 4 and watch what they can do...Add that to the fact that Our QB is still learning on the Job and it's like a DC's wet dream now...I'm of the belief that Trent is regressing because He knows now when He gets the time He HAS to be perfect because He gets so few opportunities to actually throw without pressure to an open receiver...that is making him press a bit and now He's less than accurate when that was his strength a few weeks ago...Most Teams who can Run the Ball would salivate at the Defensive Game Plans The Bills see every Game...Somehow, someway though...They can't Run The Ball...90 Rushing yards in 2 Games combined from a Team that is supposed to be Run 1st??? What in Gods Name is up with that???

They are soft because their HC is soft...He's an Ivy League edjucated zombie without a pulse...IE...He's smart, but dead so what does it matter?...I'm not saying this bunch needs a Parcells type to whip them into shape...But any HC with a pulse would do now...And the fact that The Bills have gone 3 consecutive weeks without being able to figure out how to Score consistantly vs. these Defenses proves these idiots can't Game Plan worth a darn...

Lastly...We cannot discount the dumb mistakes...The turnovers that never should have happened...The challenge Flags that were thrown too late, or never thrown at all...The challenge Flags that were thrown and should not have been...The bumbling idiot crap...This Team has a conservative HC who supposedly preaches playing smart and properly executing on every Play, and this Team does neither...

The Bills are in HUGE trouble because the doubt has set in with these Players, and they just gave a dead man a Contract extention...So now...When it's crystal clear to Ralph that Jauron cant get any more out of this Team, what will He do???

    UGH!!!

And thus we are a fraud.

    Poor Coaching

Players who need someone to inspire them

We are lucky to be 5-4...and any thoughts of playoffs should be for 2010

  2. You know this guy is talking out of his ass when he starts the press conference with "well our kicking game is solid. we really covered kicks"...

Then the time out..."there are many reasons"...WELL DICK what are the reasons??? Who the hell lets 25 seconds run off the clock and then calls a time out.

  3. I was pissed after the Arizona game, and after the Miami game, but then I reflected and looked at who we beat and now I realize this team is no better than a 4 - 12 (just lucky to get that 5th)

    Look who we beat

    Seattle - They suck

    Jacksonville - Jeckle and Hyde

    Oakland - They suck

    St. Louis - They Suck

San Diego - Jeckle and Hyde (not to mention they were looking ahead to London)

So after drinking the kool aid and now coming off that buzz...I realize that this is probably one of the worst Bills teams in years. Both sides of the O-Line are pathetic. The Line backers and DB's get no help from the lack of pressure or being put on an island when forced to blitz.

The running game and passing game struggle because we are forced to become predictable, not to mention always playing from behind. Edwards, has never impressed me, say what you will, he is not a starting NFL QB (a decent backup or filler).

The coaching staff (except for Bobby April) is a waste. In Turk we trust...Yeah BS. If the biggest change we see from last year is running that G-Damn WILDCAT, then please go somewhere.

Someone said it on here..time to dismantle this thing from top down.

  4. This team has done it again. Due to injuries and a soft second half we started drinking the Kool-Aid last year. With everyone back and a soft schedule we ALL thought this was a good team. We have been exposed through out the year.

Sept. 7 Seattle W 34-10 - They suck this year

    Sept. 14 @ Jacksonville W 20-16 - An average team

    Sept. 21 Oakland W 24-23 - They suck

Sept. 28 @ St. Louis W 31-14 - beat them when they were in disarray

    Oct. 5 @ Arizona L 41-17 - enough said

    Oct. 12 Bye

Oct. 19 San Diego W 23-14 - inconsistent play but the london game was looming

Oct. 26 @ Miami L 25- 16 - they suck and for chad to throw over 300 we suck

Nov. 2 NY Jets - they suck

    Nov. 9 @ New England 1:00pm - another loss

Nov. 17 Cleveland 8:30pm - at home might get the win

Nov. 23 @ Kansas City 1:00pm - playing much better

Nov. 30 San Francisco 1:00pm - they suck we should win

Dec. 7 Miami* 4:05pm no home field advantage in TO - same result

    Dec. 14 @ NY Jets 1:00pm - another loss

    Dec. 21 @ Denver 4:05pm - Denver going for a playoff spot

Dec. 28 New England 1:00pm - playoff positionig for NE

7-9 way to go Ralph / Russ / Dick

  5. It wasn't about Griese, it was about Favre. Garcia wanted an extension on his contract (along with the guaranteed $$ that comes with that) The Bucs refused to extend his contract because they were hoping to land Favre.

    Half Right

Garcia was due a performance bonus last year which he was going to make until Gruden benched him after the Bucs clinched a playoff spot (2 games left). Shortly there after it was reported that Garcia would be extended to include the missed incentives.

The only extensions were to Bruce Allen and John Gruden. Later in the off season came the Farve speculation.

  6. 250 or so yards, 1 TD, countless 3rd down completions, and a 90% completion rate, in the 4th quarter alone... um yeah, i'm sold too.

Those last two fourth quarter drives are what seasons / careers are made of. When they create the highlight film we will be watching this game again (and probably on NFL Network this week)

  7. I was not in favor of the Edwards move; as I felt JP never got a fair shot (rookie year being told he would be replaced if...); however, watching Edwards this year has made me a believer. The kid is tough, the kid can throw the deep ball, the kid can check down, the kid has poise.

In as much I wish the best for JP (aka the mountain man)...This is Trent's team and I AM SOLD!!!!

  8. I am always in favor of players renegotiating their contracts when they are under paid. Especially in a system where there are no gaurenteed contract and Owners can cut a player at any point in the contract -- another topic for another day--

But the question for the group when a player holds out, they are basically holding the team hostage

    - team keeps roster spot open

    - current salary applied to cap

    - create discontent with other players

    - etc.

Usually when the player signs the deal (after holding out), they end up hurt for that season.

So with all that said, can the team make a retalatory strike against the player, by suspending him for "cunduct detramental to the team"?

Not only would the player be fines, but would / could have to pay back some of the original signing bonus.

You think agent would think twice about having guys sit out?

  9. With Peters hold out going on forever...Im not too excited about getting him back this year. At this point Im changing my stance and am now on the side of the Bills brass.

Every time a player holds out, when they return they always end up getting hurt with something strained or torn. There is no need to waste 08 cap money on a IR guy.

  10. Well its not a shocker to us Bills fans...

I was surfing through the sports channels on satelite and landed on Comcast Sports where they were having a round table on the Ravens.

Everyone is disappointed with our good friend Willis.

The statement are (can you guess) :

    - he has not been around here during the offseason

    - he has not helped out with the young quaterbacks

    - we question his physical shape .. having to come out of games

    - he hesitates at the line of attack

Maybe GM's will start reading TSW when going after past BB's
