The truth of the matter is the QB makes the coach. If you don’t identify a true NFL QB and develop him you will die as a coach. I believe this is what has happened to Reich and many others.

It’s really hard to say. The Bills will remain very competitive as last BGT as JA is healthy. However, with his style of play it’s hard to say when the hits will take a toll on him. He probably has 5ish prime years left then it becomes a little bit of a luck game. He could go for 5 more or he could physically crash. Can Newton and Big Ben are probable comparisons as he plays with the style of the former and has the build of the latter. Hard to say.

Don’t have the subscription but sounds like a great interview. Beane is really good at what he does. The Bills were lucky to land him.

No doubt the NFL has become soft when it comes to QBs. Also no Doubt competitive players like Josh Allen will use it to their team’s advantage.

Wonder how this com[ares to drought years. Bills fans are generally loyal through thick and thin.

Every team can likely argue it has had “the worst” draft. The Bills have finally gotten back on track but it helps when you have a QB that plays lie he is Superman from another planet. Until the QB is in place your team is likely to go through a GM and coaching carousel. This is death for drafts because each incoming regime wants something a little different.

Nothing to be excited about

I continue to be excited about what Cook will bring to this offense. The Bills now have 2 running backs that can either be in the backfield or split out wide and essentially be wide receivers. As they both get better in the scheme this will create matchup nightmares and give Josh more options.

I could not agree more. He pushed / threw a 330 ‘ish lb man around like nothing. It was a crazy good play on his part.
