This is what I’ve been saying !!

Like i don’t get why they won’t just bring him in ?

He would be better then anyone we have rn

he would cost way too much.. If McBeanes saw fit to move Dareus to save big $$, who can play, and then go and sign Dez, who can't anymore, for big $$ , then we have to rethink our front office

no, but the bengals sure got lucky beating the ravens, no?

had that not happened, this thread would never exist.

snow game win (luckiest win I've ever seen) and bengals loss (most inconceivable loss I've ever seen) inconceivable in the same season.  but hey they had some bad breaks during the season (i think?)

From all the accounts at training camp he was lighting it up last year. I was really excited to see what he had.

Cant wait to see if that carries over. Good qb play will go a long way if AJ or Josh can get things going.

If reciever continues to be an issue I could see this team pulling the trigger on making another trade ala Benjamin.

Also 90 mil in free agency next year will go a long way. Futures so bright I gotta wear shades.

yeah, this year is another process year... 2019 will be great

I think they will make the playoffs again this year with AJ and this years group, which IMO looks better than last years and has a much better OC.   Just my opinion.   AJ can't possibly be less productive than Taylor and they will open the season with a better WR group than last year.   D looks better than last year with the new guys coming in, Shaq being back, etc.   Doesn't look like the division got much better.   Allen can sit for a year.   So I see a good year ahead.

It's amusing to see all these fans think this team is going to make a jump from last year and improve. Not happening!!! This team is in rebuild mode and won't be ready to play for championships any sooner than 2019. Why would you pay Tyrod Taylor all that money just to go 7-9/8-8 like they always do? Saving the money and letting this process work is the right move. Buffalo is finally out of cap hell next year yet so many of you want to complain. If any of you think any of these moves made in the last 12 months are to win now....you don't get it.

I'm not sure they couldn't be pretty good this year.  AJ easily matches TT's lousy passing stats ..  Dion Dawkins easily replaced Glenn and will only be better this year.    WRs will be healthy after playing hurt all last year.   Shady will be Shady.   Clay, Clay.   AJ will get them the damn ball for once.  Daboll 100x better than Rico.   Great locker room full of character guys now that the bad eggs and big contracts are gone.  Shaq is back.   3-4 starters coming out of the draft (excellent draft) .  Groy slides in at center no prob.  Miller will be back at guard ,back from Rico-imposed  hell.  odds are Incognito comes back once his head clears.

I don't see a dropoff at all on paper, before the injuries happen, which can blow everything up for any team.   Loving The Process.   finally, guys at OBD that know how to build a football team.  hallelujah

So awesome, it was worth the time to watch. I have mad respect for Baker Mayfield. Browns fan should be proud to have him. This guy is a worker, he walked on twice and ended up as the best college QB in college history based on QBR rating. One of the greatest football stories ever. I think it’s very cool how he did his draft day. I loved this video and what it ment to him and his family.

too short.   You'll see.  Browns blew it by not drafting Darnold.

Taking CB Taron Johnson over OT Tyrell Cosby in the 4th was disappointing then to come back for another DB next pick??? Not feeling the Day 3 picks. Hope I'm wrong.

you're wrong.   trust the process.   McBeanes know what they are doing.

McBeanes have absolutely killed this draft.  A+

The guy will need to transform into a new person if he is to be successful in the NFL.

He does so many things wrong.  He could get away with that at Wyoming where you have huge talent mismatches all over the field.  It's not like that in the NFL, where everyone around you is a super talent.  That's when the Allen way of doing things will kill his career.

From what I've read, Allen's WRs sucked.  and his OL sucked.  He was the only adult on the field in the passing game.  so all things , other than him, being equal, he is pretty special player.   trust the process.  McBeanes know what they are doing.

  9. they obviously wanted Allen rather than Rosen and feared Az. thought the same and would jump them.   Same with Edmunds.  So they took it by the horns and traded up for both.   Which means we need to trust their scouting skills and the process in general.  I hope Allen sits for a year at least.

You guys think any of these guys have that instant stardom look? Where they look like they are a NFL star waiting to be drafted?

I kind of knew Waston would be good. Seen the guy play at a high level. When was the last time a qb came into the league an almost instant success? What qb did you think coming out of college would be a success and was?

no, not really,  there are no Andrew Lucks in this draft

Just a moment of distraction from tomorrow night.

One of those dumb slideshow articles popped up on my home page, "The 25 Greatest NFL Receivers of All Time" or something like that.

I stupidly clicked on it and through the slideshow just to see where they ranked Andre. I was surprised that he was not on their list. Now, this was just some site

named newarena, so who cares, right? But I decided to look up some other sites that ranked the all-time wide receivers. The second one I saw was from

Gil Brandt at NFL.com and he did not have Andre in his list of the top 32 wide receivers all-time. I went to another list (from fansided) and Andre did not

    make their top 30.

I did finally find some sites that had him ranked: Althon ranked him #18, Ranker #12, Bleacher Report #20, Swartzsports #27, nflspinzone #14. That is a lot

of disparity in how people see Andre's career; from #12 to not top 32. So it just got me wondering where you all who actually watched his career would rank him.

But first, let me make the case for Andre (as if I need to on this board):

    He currently, still ranks:

#16 in career yards for a receiver

#16 in career receptions for a WR

#14 in career TDs by a WR

#5 in career postseason receiving yards

tied for #3 in most career 100-yard playoff games

    Other notes:

951 receptions was 3rd all-time at his retirement

The only player other than Jerry Rice with 13 seasons of 50+ receptions

    7 Pro Bowls

    4 Super Bowl appearances

    3 TDs in the Comeback

Where would you put Andre on the all-time list?

    top 30

And regardless of what QB we take ... let us all be patient with the rookie and not run him out of town after 1-2 years

I was talking with my father earlier and he is a die hard fan like us all. Like some posters here, he has been with the Bills since day 1, 1960 and been with the team through all the ups and downs

The one thing he and I fear is that we will not be patient with our rookie QB and run him out of town. We have been stung time and time again and we are rabid as a fan base and want    Instant results .

It is not a 1 year process with a rookie QB. There will be good plays and bad but we must be patient and support him unconditionally

    BILLIEVE 2018

    trust the process

Allen didn't get any college offers after high school and went to the well-know powerhouse Reedley College.  After 2 years at that junior college, (playing against other programs like Monterey Peninsula College) he tried to get a scholarship to a 4 year school and had only two colleges interested.   He went to Wyoming (in the 7th best football conference) and his senior year the highest ranked team they beat was Colorado State, #83 nationally.  He had a 30 QB rating against Iowa and a 6 (six) rating against Colorado.   His completion percent was 53, & 56%. in the pros it goes down about 10%.  How in the heck is this guy a top 6 QB?  https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2018/4/24/17271686/josh-allen-nfl-draft-2018-stats-analysis-comparisons

Agree.   I think they should stick at 12 and see who drops to them.   A franchise in a garden spot like Buffalo NY can only be built through the draft, where the guys have no choice but to play there for at least 4 or 5 years.   Just my two cents as since none of these QB prospects are sure bets, why blow the entire draft to bet on one of them?
