  1. I am usually hesitant to pass judgement on domestic issues because I have been on the wrong side of the Psycho female issue before.

Some chicks are beyond psycho and who really knows the story.

Nevertheless, the dude should have known better. Being in a high profile position, especially since you were just hired, he should have gone to extreme lengths to avoid this crap and unfortunately he did not.

    Good luck to him.

  2. On SportsCenter just now Tom Jackson, Chris Carter, and Keyshawn Johnson ALL said that Vince Young doesnt even deserve to be on the team anymore, let alone be the starting QB, because of his own actions.

Guess those 3 guys are trying to hold the black man down...

Er do you have a point or just cloaking ur racism in psycho-babble

  3. The NFL is the most followed professional sports league on the planet...it sends a bad message to everyone if they allow a non-repentant convicted felon back in the league...it's not like he couldn't play football elsewhere...UFL, CFL, Arena League

    Unrepentant?

What is your problem? Reading or comprehension?

  4. what will really piss me off is if Auburn somehow loses the SEC championship, and that counts against them as a loss and drops them from the top spot

edit: also, as much as Id like to see Boise get Ohio St in light of the Ohio AD running his mouth, Id LOVE to see Boise in a bowl against LSU or Alabama. I'd take a THREE loss Alabama over Boise.

You are so right, I would love it to be Boise vs Alabama or Ohio State lol......LSU is a weird team and who knows with them

  5. After watching this showdown here today can anyone honestly say that Boise and TCU deserve to put themselves in the same category as SEC teams. seriously?

I would take a two loss SEC team over an undefeated TCU or Boise

  6. Cunnungham always through more than he ran, obviously. But "early in his career" in Philly, his BEST passing years were also his BEST running years, so you're wrong on both accounts. I would argue that Cunningham was far more "underrated", or whatever, than Moon.

It would clearly surprise you to hear that Young was well-known as a running QB for most of his career at SF. His numbers over his career are 33,000 yards passing to 4200 yards rushing. Compare that to Cunnuinhams's 30,000 and 4900 and tell me again what your point is.

Oh, that's right---you don't like the black QBs.

    Wow Pure Ownage!!!

  7. The Trent over Fitz gaffe is not so unfathomable. Trent was a flag football superstar who crumbled under game pressure and Ftiz seems to be exactly the opposite. Of course a new coaching staff would get that wrong in training camp. In Hindsight it cost the team 1 win, 2 at most (if you honestly believe Fitz could have defeated the Pack) so what is the big deal? Let's move on.

I'd like to see Brohm brought into a game at some point to find out which side of that spectrum he falls on.

An upgrade at QB means a locker room leader capable of perennially ranking as a top 5 QB VERY SOON. Anything less and you may as well stick with Fitzy. Vince is not that guy, and Chan would need a whole new (and simple) playbook for him as his Wonderlic score got lots of press for the opposite result of Fitz's.

Sorry but Brohm cant play, get over it

  8. Vick just got out of prison. Half the country still believes that he shouldn't be playing in the NFL. Of course he's going to be contrite on TV.

You think he's going to outright say that his coaching in ATL sucked?

You think he's going to say his #1 receiver was Peerless Price who sucked balls?

I think not. You'll see a contrite person who repeatedly says "I'm sorry" whether he truly believes it or not.

Sure, he probably slacked a bit in ATL but that wasn't the root cause of his play. The root cause was a lack of supporting cast and poor coaching.

Shhhhhhh dont make too much sense to bigoted minds

  9. Obviously is dumber and/or more desperate than I thought. There is a bout ZERO chance he will win this suit.

Settle for what? I don't think he gets a dime from ESPN. Maybe he'll have to pay them for bringing this ridiculous lawsuit.

It costs a lot of money, time and bad publicity to fight a lawsuit, so thats why many celebrities and corporations find a settlement

  10. Blue, I live in the real world. No white man is stopping a black child from doing his homework and graduating from high school, and no white man is causing a black father to abandon his child. You can B word all you want about institutionalized racism, but it doesn't dominate the system anymore. No one is stopping black people from voting anymore, no one is stopping black children from attending white schools.

    But hey, crutches are awesome!

Ah never mind, how simple it is to live in ignorant bliss

Want black QBs to be better, Jamele? Tell them to actually learn to read a defense or throw with some accuracy and stop just taking off and running when their primary WR is convered. That type of BS "quarterbacking" works in college, but not in pro ball.

In the NFL, you can't simply rely on superior athleticism. You need to actually be an honest-to-goodness QB.

Wow, what great insight? Who would have ever thought this?

Jeez, I wonder how many NFL QBs you have groomed and how many defenses you have dissected to come to this conclusion, Einstein

I apologize to my friends and relatives who I used to call ignorant and racists.

Their views are so tame in comparison to the ignorance here that they would be labelled as extreme liberals compared to some of the views here.

    WOw

  11. I could not agree more.

By the way, this law was for all minorities and not just Blacks, or should I use the word African Americans?

And the law seems to have had an effect because more minorities have become head coaches since it was instituted.

It is funny how it takes mandated laws to loosen those bonds of diversity <sad>

  12. What does any of this have to do with anything? I'm completely aware of the difference between prejudice and racism. Racism among racial minorities is not only real, but prevalent. Not to mention, I fail to see how minorities hating another race is not racism, as they clearly think they are superior if they have such disdain for white people.

But hey, It's ok to hate white people, as long as you blame the mythical "white man" that is holding you back.

Normally i would be irritated by your ignorance but it is clear that ur simply not getting the message?

Have minorities been oppressed by WHITEs? YES

If they harbor or exhibit signs of animosity because of these grievances does that then amount to racism?

    NO!

Hell thats like saying the lamb or Zebra is exhibiting racism towards the Lion or Wolf!!!

Their negative actions towards whites are not a result of them feeling that they are superior towards White people (which is racism) but because they feel aggrieved because of slights both real or imagined.

Again in the age of the internet this kind of ignorance should be unacceptable, but then again only 28 percent of the US pop have a college degree so go figure!
