You guys need to put down the crack pipe if you think Newton is ready to be an NFL QB. That BOMB was tipped before it was completed, otherwise...it was just like any other Hail Mary pass ever thrown. Chuck it 50 yards and pray. Wow, I sure am impressed he can make that throw.
If he's not ready then nobody is. If his throwing doesn't impress you then you don't watch.

The marketing theory is ridiculous. Like the average fan is going to get super excited about a switch in schemes, hell most casual fans probably don't know the difference anyways. I guess they really missed the boat on the campaign. "2010, a season to believe switch to the 3-4"
Gailey said he wanted to run the 3-4 because he knows how difficult it is to game plan against. Coming from an offensive coach I believe it.

Can give quite a bit of recommendations, but need to know price range/likes/dislikes first. Lots of great things to do in Bmore. One word of advice, if the Aquaruim is on the to do list, make sure you do it early morning Saturday, after 11 place is wacked on the weekends.

I also never miss a chance to go the Cross Street Market in Federal Hill, which is very walkable(5 minutes) from the Inner Harbor, really just the next neighborhood over. Great place to go on a Saturday afternoon for some great seafood, at great prices, with VERY cheap beer, and a unique experience. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend for late Saturday lunch. Plus, Federal a cool neighborhood to boot

I'm flying down early friday morning for a long weekend in Baltimore, never been there. I would really appreciate some restaurant recommendations. I'm staying right in Inner Harbour.
Also, is it safe to wear my bills gear to the game? I would never recommend that anyone wear opposing team gear to a bills game, is it anywhere near as bad? I would expect some ribbing, I just don't want things thrown on me or anything.

I noticed him have some great pulls on a number of plays. That seems to be a strength of his, which should work well with Spillers outside runs. Now if only we could get our interior to open up some holes inside, then we would be looking very good.
I think that will be hard to tell until we get at least one of our inside runners back.

Actually I just remembered about NFL Preseason Live. $19.95 and you can see all pre-season games live, choose whatever announcing team, or see them on demand later. I just signed up because I won't be able to see any of the next two replays when they air on NFLN. LINK

Personally, I dont think Trent is good enough...but I really do hope he proves me wrong as its nothing personal on him, just his play I cant stand. I would like nothing more than him or one of the other QB's to step up and be a good NFL QB...I just have very little faith at all in Trent to be able to do that. His tendency to fold the tent in adversity are things that normally dont change once they show their face in a players game...
So what did you think of his play last night? Let me guess. "If you take out this play, or that play, he sucked."
This is my new favorite type of TBD "analysis" -
People pick sides and then they care more about being right than the team. If Trent or Maybin got cut tomorrow half of the board would be thrilled regardless of the effects on the team. They would be able to post that they are right!

I am about to the point the NFL can go breasts up for all I care. It has become nothing but greed. Paying kids millions of dollars to play a friggin GAME! Go work a !@#$ing JOB for a few years then see if you are willing to play a game for a few hundred thousand or maybe a couple million.
I am sick of the average fan not being able to afford to take their families to games anymore. Even if the economy wasnt so ****ty, ticket prices, parking, concessions etal are WAY out of hand to suppport these stupid salaries.
This argument drives me crazy. I will most likely be able to walk after I retire.
