  1. Who says Harbaugh is interested in the Bills? I cannot see him walking out on the Stanford program for this mess when he's the next big thing in college with an eye towards Ann Harbor the moment RichRod flames out.
  2. Been there, done that, and never, ever again. ___________ > Gilbride
  3. No, it still means something, just not everything. This is exactly why we need to move him now, because he's still young enough, not in jail, and is close enough to his time as the feature that he'll be worth a decent pick or player from some GM who had him high on the draft board. If we wait another year to trade him we'll get substancially less. Think of him as a car; every year, every mile, every violation his value depreciates.
  4. Much as Cowher has qualities worth admiring, am I the only one here who is less than inspired by the fawning over more Pittsburgh leftovers? Been there, done that, and for some reason the taste of Donohoe vomit still refluxes up to the surface as soon as an "ex-Steeler" is bandied about as the next Bills savior.
  5. Weren't we just told half a news cycle ago that Cowher was assembling a staff, too? Rumors, rumors, rumors...
  6. In the 40 yard dash? Are you aware that would require Bolt to run at least a 3.3? No, at that short distance it's close. I ran a 4.75 at one point in my life, and was certainly not anywhere near the speed of a guy like Johnson. In a 40 yard race, a half-second is enormous. I would expect them to be separated by less than 2 tenths.
  7. First honest comment from any of the "insiders" that I've seen so far.
  8. Bolt wipes Johnson out at 60 meters and beyond. For 40 yards I could see being very competitive.
  9. Great, great call.
  10. They have the worst short-yardage offense in the NFL, and Westbrook is about done. I could see Lynch filling a very important hole for Philly. With his relatively cheap contract and low tread-wear, I could see Philly making a play for Lynch...they showed with the Vick signing that they are more than willing to take in off-the-field problems if they think the payoff is worth it. Vick for Lynch? Stranger things have happened.
  11. They'll get Pittsburgh. Bank it.
  12. That's one scintillating home schedule...
  13. My guess is a 3rd round pick. Maybe he could be parlayed into a deal that would allow the Bills to move the Bills up in the draft.
  14. Lynch currently fills a very small, minor hole as depth at RB without any special teams contribution, off-the-field problems and a poor attitude about not starting. A trade to help the team fill a much larger, more important hole is most definitely in order.
  15. I ain't gonna bore my taste no more, gonna have me a Genny Cream.
  16. When it's all said and done, and Lynch's sub-par career is reflected upon, the night of his hit-and-run will be seen as the watershed moment when he went from promising young talent to a lowlife waste of talent.
  17. Have a pop and STF about WNY slang. ...and, yes, I am mocking you out.
  18. Post of the year, so far.
  19. Kind of a Catch-22, really. I'm damned to being a smartass if I mock you out for this retarded error, and damned to internal torture if I let this go without a smartass remark.
  20. Excellent point. Sounds like BS.
  21. This is not good. If Holmgren didn't think he could get Cowher he would not get rid of Mangini, especially the way the Browns finished the year with four straight wins. Remember, Cowher played and coached for the Browns before going to Pittsburgh, and would be a natural fit in that town.
  22. I really, really am. Lynch is a POS as far as I'm concerned.
  23. It's a Rooney Rule interview. Besides, Perry did as well as possible considering the hand he was dealt, and always stayed classy. He'll land a job somewhere in short order.
