Say hello to Pat Thomas and Alvin Bowen.
-
wow--I am in awe.!! seriously. You belong in the same fraternity as those of us who grew up as kids in the old rockpile. You are a true Buffalonian!![/quote
Thanks TCALI- For better or worse the bills are my team. In my opinion there's not a team that means more to a community. I love Buffalo and everything it stands for- the bills are an extension of this and that will never change.

Born and raised in northern california. No ties to buffalo whatsoever. Became a football fan at a young age, watching the Jim Kelly led bills. I now have season tickets to the bills (still live in CA). I fly to buffalo at least three times a year and generally hit two road games. I even went as far as buying a house in Buffalo.
I've missed one game on TV or in person in the last 10 years. This team has given me heartbreaking loss after heartbreaking loss and yet I still wipe the slate every Sunday, throw on my bills jersey and root for them like we're playing for the superbowl. Call it blind alligence or just faith. Regardless of how crappy the team is, I still appreciate everything this team stands for and everything they mean to the community of buffalo.
The long suffering fans will one day be vindicated.

Today was the first game since the 3-13 2001 season that I turned off a game before it concluded. Couldn't stand to watch after we went down 31-3.
-
After attending last night's game, I'm still in Boston, so it's taking a little longer. Hard to see the chowderheads wearing their pats jersey's two days in a row. People are strutting around like they won the damn superbowl last night. I'll be heading to Buffalo tomorrow, hopefully I'll get the lose out of my system soon. It still hurts though.

Sounds like a few of the faithful will be there. If anyone is interested in linking up for a few cold ones PM me and we'll link up. Power in numbers- GO Bills.
-
I apologize if this has already been posted or if it belongs in another section.
Anyhow, I'm making the trek to Boston, from California for the game and am trying to identify a group of bills fans to have some beers with before the game. Who's going?

This has been a tough week having to with posters like you, and it's made me far too cranky to deal with having to respond to this mindless banal, and plane disrespect from you and at least two other posters, jwssswhoever and Spartacus.
As a result, I'm planning to take some time off this board to cool down and reconsider. I've got a busy week ahead of me, and there's no point respond to this baloney.
As much as I could try to ignore it, it just rubs me the wrong way.
To all those with whom I've shared many good and informed exchanges with, thank you all. It's been a pleasure.
I hope to be back at some point, but at this point it all seems too trying to deal with.
Sincerely,
John Wawrow.
John,
I and many others (the vast majority) of this board greatly appreciate your contributions. Please do not let a few knuckle heads dissuade you from participating in TBD discussions.

damn it. Sucks for stupar

2 of our 5 free agent pickups have been cut. Hoping they don't cut TO, I already bought a jersey

I live just outside of San Francisco California and I'm a season ticket holder. I'm going to 5 games this year including weeks one and two.
-
The odds that there is a "diamond in the rough" amongst Jauron's staff is about a million to one. I don't like those odds.
So you're saying there's a chance?
-
Hopefully this move benefits us in week 2.
-
living in California, it doesn't help me. I'm traveling to the east coast a bunch of times and KC to watch the bills.
-
Through 3 season games, i have exactly 1 sack with the Bills.
The most realistic madden yet!

thanks for the link. Am I missing something. Its just a link to billszone. And while I do see a link to the official JP Losman website, I don't see the shout song anywhere.
-
That's awesome. Sounds like a good time.
By chance does anyone have an MP3 of the shout song they can share with the board? I'd like to get it on my Ipod, just can't find a downloadable version anywhere.
thx.

great pics, thanks for sharing!
- Seeing TO and Lee on the same team sent shivers down my spine.
- An unfortunate site to see: Ellison lining up with the first team backers.

Mixed in amongst the three million JP, Willis and TO jerseys I found a few good ones on ebay...Alas no Jamie Nails XXXXXXL jerseys were available.

I hope and everyone else on this board should pray that the answer is Maybin. Do I think he will have a Javon Kearse like rookie campaign-NO. Can he make a difference- YES.
I reality, I think the play maker is McLovin'. I point to the K.C. game last year. If and if we get any semblance of a pass rush I think Mclovin' turns the corner (no pun intended) in a major way.
Sleepers: Reggie Corner (showed flashes of becoming a good player late last year)
Youboty: He was all over the place at the beginning of last season. If he can stay healthy who knows.
Biggest bust: Drayton Florence. No reason, other than his performance in Jax last season. I see this as a Will James, push the young guys insurance move.

Jacksonville
Nope- they drafted Monroe and Britten(sp?). They are pretty well off now.
-
he can and he will!
-
but can he jump over the center
I am shocked, absolutely shocked
