  1. Not sure about this story. Ur telling me he saw Lynch at the mall and then his fiance just happened to run into Lynch that same night at a club? Thats hard to believe. However its becomming apparent that hes not the type of guy we want on this team. If he was a 1,600yrd per year all-pro it would be a different story but hes now only a change of pace back.

Dont let the door hit ya

  2. I analyzed which teams may be wanting to draft a quarterback and there are few who might even use an early round pick on one:

    AFC East

    Bills- YES!!!!

Dolphins- I'd say No- Pennington may or may not be able to recover from his latest shoulder injury but Henne performed well enough for being inexperienced.

Pats- No- Brady bounced back and is only 32

    Jets- No- just got Sanchez

    AFC North

    Steelers- No- have big Ben

    Bengals- No - C.Palmer only 30

Browns- maybe- B.Quinn has had 3 years but like the Bills with Losman, I think they give him a 4th year to make it

    Ravens- No- have Flacco

    AFC South

Colts- No- Manning soon to be 34 but they don't need to do anything yet

    Texans- No- have Schaub

Titans- No- should wait & see if the 2nd half of this year shows V.Young finally the guy

Jags- No- Garrard does good enough

    AFC West

    Chargers- No- Rivers

Broncos- probably not as Orton did well enough & it wasn't his fault for team's late collapse

Chiefs- No- huge investment in Cassell, who did OK, so he'll get at least another year

Raiders- ??? but probably 1st likely team to think about drafting one- you never know what Al Davis is thinking but speculation is he'll give the big investment in J.Russell more time. They also have Gradkowski, Frye & JP

    NFC East

    Giants- No- Eli

Eagles- No- McNabb with Kolb waiting in wings

Skins- probably not- Shanahan said he's looking forward to working with Campbell, which could be blowing smoke but I say he tries to work with him for a yearCowboys- No- Romo- unless he really stinks it up tonight or gets injured

    NFC North

    Pack- No- Rodgers-

    Lions- No- just drafted Stafford

Bears- No- just got Cutler- despite his # of INTs, he should be given more time

Vikes- Maybe- could be time to draft Favre replacement

    NFC South

    Tampa- No- just got Freeman

    Saints- Hell No- Brees

Panthers- probably- Delhomme was horrible so it depends what they think of Moore

    Falcons- No- Ryan

    NFC West

Niners- probably not- I think Alex Smith showed enough to be given another year

Seahawks- maybe- Hasselbach getting old & brittle. Carroll may want to draft his own guy

Arizona- probably not- Warner old but depends on what they think about Leinhart's development

Rams- very likely- Bulger aging & brittle and Boller a free agent

So, counting Bills, that's 7 teams that may be looking to draft a QB in early rounds

I think the Jags may go QB if the right guy is there and we all know who that is. Also I think Shanahan is just saying he wants to keep Cambell in hopes that he can trade him. If he says hes not his guy and everyone knows he wants to move him he wont get jack for him.

  3. Maybe the worst, I agree.

ESPN Monday Night's crew, on the other hand, may be the best ever. Certainly the best current.

EDIT: I should add that NBC's Sunday Night team is close to the worst ever. Collinsworth is intolerable.

    Agree and disagree

I really liek the Monday night crew. Its refreshing to have a few guys who will talk to the realy football fan instead of talking down to the casual fan.

Although I dont mind Collingsworth. He is able to provide a lot of insight into the offensive game. Hes worthless to talk about the D but noverall I dont mind him.

  4. Just seen a guy put a gun in a cab drivers face. Time to dip

(about 11 hours ago from txt)

    AaronMaybin58

    Aaron Maybin

Instead of time to dip. . . or time to tweet, how about calling the cops?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Seriously man! Why didnt he notify someone? If that guy killed the cab driver and someone used his tweet as evidence that he was a witness what kind of trouble could he be in....... some people are just plain stupid and irresponsible. Way to care about your fellow man Aaron.

  5. If I have to listen to that slow-witted retard, Buck Bellou, make one more disparaging comment about the Bills or Buffalo, I'm going to drive over to the station and beat his asss. This guy drives me nuts, and the days when he's doing the show solo I just find something else to listen to. I can't stand the "good ol' boy" thing, and he reeks of it. Kincade is cool...I wish he'd just do the show by himself like he does on Sundays.

Gotta agree that Buck is a moron about pro football but he is there for one reason and one reason only and that is his acess into the Georgia Bulldogs. You know as well as I do that the people here would much rather listen nto sports talk about college football and the dogs then they ever would about the NFL.

  6. Ralph always hires someone who he can control. Every GM or coach who has stood up to RW has been fired or has quit. Nix will not make any decisions unless RW approves it.

Thats my point! I was not a fan of promoting from within at first. Then I calmed myself down and said "hey lets give the guy a shot" Then I really thought about it again and I'm beginning to believe that unless a coach came in with a big name and total control like what Shanahan would have wanted here that we are doomed until he is gone. No team can flurish with a man over 90 calling the shots..... see Raiders, Oakland

  7. I live in Atlanta and every thursday at 4pm Mort comes on the radio station here 680 the Fan and does "The Mort Report". When Buck and Kincade asked him about the BUffalo situation he said a bunch of stuff tha we have all heard but he also said that even with the Nix hire that Wilson was still the one making the calls.

I know we all hatre MOrt but could this be true and if it is does this mean we are doomed until this man dies?

  8. You dont need a 3-4 to be big bad and rough as a D. Look to Minn as a model. We need another big time DT. I like Kyle Williams as a rotation guy and Stroud is still decent but we need a young Pat Willams (like Mount Cody). Then we need a big rough run stopping MLB. Poz should be moved outside. Another starting LB should be brought in and should compete with Mitchell. If Mitchel loses out then he stays as depth. Forget releasing him we need to start adding depth to this team. The DBs are fine. I like our CBs and our S's.

On O we need a LT and better depth. IF and thats a big if Wood is healthy I move him to C and make Hangardner depth. We then have an OLine of

    LT New player

    LG LeVitre

    C Wood

    RG Incognito (or Simmons)

    RT Butler

Then you keep both Lynch and Jackson, and sign or trade for a QB as a short term fix, like a COllins, Hasselback, or Buldger.

DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT THE QB POSITION UNTIL THE REST OF THE TEAM IS AT LEAST RESPECTABLE!

  9. Hey Dip s**t, that's what it sounded like to me. I don't follow the Cowboys. In fact, Romo is the only player I know on the team. Blame the announcer. Idiot Marino today called Fitzpatrick Fitzgerald.

Edit: to later readers- It sounded like Jamarcus to me. The poster could have sent me a PM to correct it, I did later.

You cannot be serious. You are a football fan and have not heard of Demarcus Ware? Even if your not a Cowboys fan you should know who he is. He led the league in sacks last year and challenged for the all time record!

As for my comment, if my joke upset you and the poster who came to your defense then I apologize but seriously it was a joke there is no need to turn to petty name calling but whatever.

  10. Unless he renegotiates his deal, nobody is trading for Vick. Philly is going to either have to let him go or sign him to a new deal. Right now, with his current contract, his trade value is lower than Trent Edwards'.

Actually the Eagles have an option on Vick for next season. They can take the option and pay him 5mil next year (which they will not) or they can decline and he will be a FA which is what will happen.

  11. I know these are a lot of what ifs but IF Seattle moves on from Hasselback (which is a definate possiblity) and IF the Bills draft a young QB wouldnt Hasselback be a nice pickup to play the mentor short term starter role?

I know he gets hurt a lot but if you drafted a QB thats not a big deal cause then the rook gets some time during his learning year.

Another option may be Kerry Collins in the same role.
