Assuming Dicky J keeps his job(I like Josh McDaniels if not)

Trade J Peters(Maybe a One and a two)

tough pill to swallow but this has become one strange relationship and both sides are to blame.

Special teams and backups keep the status quo.

I believe this is a resonable offseason. Along with natural player progression it could have a chance.

1st Round. DE Brian Orakpro, Texas. Will bring heat on the opposing QB.

2nd Round C Alex Mack, California. Blocked for Lynch before and is a stud that the line is missing.

3rd Round OLB Marcus Freeman, Ohio St. Replacement for the "ghost" Ellison.

4th Round DE Matt Shaughnessy, Wisconsin. More heat on the QB.

5th Round TE Jared Bronson, Central Washington. This guy is for you TE worshippers, looks like a sleeper.

The idea is to run the ball with Lynch & Jackson and rush the passer with Schobel, Orakpro and Shaughnessy.

I think you make a lot on sense. I totally agree with addressing both lines and, while I struggle with the Peters issue, I'm not convinced he is the answer and if there is a little drop-off without him, but help us to build up other parts of the team. I am all for it. In watching all the games this year, he didn't look that great and made a lot of mistakes and in my opinion, did not deserve the Pro Bowl nod. We desperately need a DE, C, OLB , DT and TE as well as a backup experienced QB and you have addressed all of that and the trading of Peters make filling the other holes possible. Now, we have to draft properly and make the best FA moves which is another issue, but in concept, this works for me. Good post...
