Shamrock Posted October 28, 2004 Share Posted October 28, 2004 Forgive me as I write this from Oz but over the last HC Williams we were 3-13 rebuilding, 8-8 nearly rebuilt and 7-9 happy with the players/ personell with salary cap to spare. So far we are 1-5 but where do we stand. Is this year a year of for Mularkey to settle, therefor edon't get too involved with the W-L ratio or draw a direct comparison with last year and ask, other than a few players who have left, are we underachieving? Across the playes we have drafted if we are underachieving who have we coached into a better player. For example, was Schobel a developing player when we nabbed him in the 2nd round who is coming along and got 2 sacks against the Jonathen Ogden or is Schobel just more talented than Denney whom we traded up with the 49ers to get in the 2nd round and that Denney is a true reflection of poor coaching and development.
