Some random Southern hits hit with a freak "snowstorm" and schools are closed for a week. 844549[/snapback] I spent six miserable years living in North Carolina, and the one thing that never got old was watching what happened when it would snow. The very hint of a snowflake falling, and it was like having someone stand in the middle of the state yelling "Let the car wrecks begin!" My favorite scene was watching them on TV try to free their car after it got stuck in an icy snow patch. The reporter would be standing next to them while they gun their engine and spin the tires in hopes they'll ultimately melt the snow and get traction.
