bbb Posted September 20, 2006 Share Posted September 20, 2006 I've had this for 5 years (I know that because I bought it after 9/11, because CCrane would donate $20 to the Red Cross if you bought a radio). I've really liked it - I drag it all over the house with me. One thing I don't like is the station knobs. You have to press them too hard and eventually one broke. I am going to buy another unless there is something better out there. I would really like something that got The Lake in better, but maybe that's not possible. Something with good AM reception is most necessary.........As well as one that will shut off in half an hour or whatever - the sleep mode or whatever - because I like to fall asleep to it, but if it doesn't have one of those modes (like CC), then it wakes me up later.
