DPR4444 Posted March 29, 2006 Share Posted March 29, 2006 per the Charlotte Observer: "The Carolina Panthers will open the preseason at home against the Buffalo Bills, and will host the Miami Dolphins in a nationally televised exhibition, according to league sources. The dates and times for three of the four games aren't set. Carolina will open the weekend of Aug. 11-12 at home with Buffalo, and go to Jacksonville the second week. If it is truely going to be an open competition, then each qb should get at least one start, or a good number of reps against a starting defense.
