dave mcbride Posted January 13, 2006 Share Posted January 13, 2006 don't discount that, and i suspect that a lot of the basically enforced chaos of the past 3 weeks or so amounts to kabuki theater, created in order to force mularkey's hand. if you go that logical route, than wilson called his bluff and got his money back. don't put it past him -- the memories of the compensation he ultimately had to pay wade after he fired him undoubtedly weigh on his mind. he fought that one to the bitter end, taking it to the highest levels of the league despite the fact that everyone thought he'd lose from day one.
