A few weeks ago Alex Singleton from the Broncos was randomly drug tested and it detected abnormally high levels of something called hCG or human chorionic gonadotropin. This raised a red flag and after further medical evaluations, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer and had successful surgery to have it treated.

They believe it was caught early enough that it should have minimal impact, with the doctors believing he should make a full recovery and will even be able to return to play later this season.

So while NFL players might hate getting that visit at their locker after the game to go pee in a cup, it may just end up saving their life.
