Chalkie Gerzowski
Shots on net aren't a good measurement for a defenseman. I'm more worried about his lack of physical play and the countless opposing forwards who skated right around him as he tripped over the blue line. 361799 It is one measurement...... 7 shots in 25 games? Not that he was going to make the NHL, but wow.....

Not that he was going to make the NHL, but wow..... 362047 Not that it means much, but the numbers I see say 8 shots in 28 games (probably includes playoffs, but I don't even remember him playing in the playoffs). Anyway, I still don't see why shots really matters for a defensemen. If we're talking about a guy who could be a future point man on the powerplay, ok, but that's not what he is. If you want a good evaluation of his play, I think you have to look no further than the fact that he was benched for most of the last quarter of the season for a guy who hadn't played a single game up to that point.
