Xwnyer Posted January 23, 2023 Share Posted January 23, 2023 I think the baseball analogy fits. The Bills offense this year seemed to focus on the home run ball versus moving the chains. Too many times all season it’s throwing bombs versus moving the chains. The focus of the off-season was gonna be on YAC and once again we failed miserably at that. The play calling never seemed to try to expose and get YAC with crossing patterns and quick hit passes. Josh is a phenomenal athlete but the constant low throws kill any chance for YAC. Plus a quick hitting offense can cover up a bad OL as Cincy showed. I think Dorsey is over his head as an OC and his personality is not one that can reign in the play calling.
