mary owen Posted April 7, 2005 Share Posted April 7, 2005 I remember watching him during his rookie season. He was Rook of the Year. He had a ho-hum 2nd season, but I think he came on strong late. Then, Lovie comes to town and pretty much forces him out of the starting lineup with the signing of Thomas Jones. what am I missing here? I remember watching him that 1st year, and he played like a vet RB, ran strong, found holes, and even showed very good hands on screen plays and such. He was never a speed guy but apparently injuries have slowed him to a crawl. I guess he wasn't able to hit the holes fast enough and daylight vanished before he could get a yard.
