OldTimeAFLGuy Posted January 21, 2018 Share Posted January 21, 2018 ...just a hunch and PURELY opinion, but I see this gang as draft capital preservationalists and well as playing FA dollars close to the vest.......don't see a major investment of either in ONE player........my (wild) guess is Rudolph at 21 or 22 as the safe yet unsexy QB pick followed by OL/DL or DL/OL whichever is their preference.....Andy of Mayberry speculation is he wants a 2nd for Alex who has one year left at $17 mil.....doubt they rent him for a 2nd.....a 3rd and agreement in principle for a one year extension with an option year is more palatable....he grooms your 1st round QB draft pick and Peterman for a minimum of 2 years.......if that happened, it would provide QB positional stability for long term IMO... 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
