I call it the Rumeal Robinson factor. Back when Michigan made their National Championship run in 1989, Robinson had a great tournament and was picked 6th overall by the Hawks. Robinson was not that good, but seemingly was drafted by his play in the tourney. I hope whoever makes these decisions in 2013 looks at the entire body of work and not just the Bowl game or one big game vs. Nuktuyuktuk State.

Too many times a player is picked due to hype and not actual play. I want a player who showed up vs. the best and dominated. I want someone who can do all the things that will translate into success in the NFL. I do not want someone who had one magical match-up and is picked because of it.

Do your homework. Please.
