PastaJoe
If you still need a fantasy football fix during the playoffs, here's a suggestion. For the last few years I've run a Playoff Payoff. You can use the same scoring rules as your regular season league. You charge $5 or $10 for each person's entry (can have multiple entries, and anyone can play, not just league members). In our league we normally have 8 positions: 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 QB, 1 K, 1 D. So in NFL playoff week 1, you have to pick one player or position from each of the 8 playoff teams. Multiple entries can have the same players, there is no draft, it just has to be 1 from each NFL team. Same in week 2. In week 3 you pick 2 from each of the 4 teams, and in the Super Bowl you pick 4 from each of the 2 teams. The highest total over the 4 weeks wins the pot. You can have variations where you also pay out $5 each week for that week's high score. So a sample lineup for this week is: RB-Ladanian Tomlinson (SD) RB-Sean Alexander (SEA) WR-Reggie Wayne (IND) WR-Rod Smith (DEN) WR-Randy Moss (MIN) QB-Brett Favre (GB) K-St Louis D-NY Jets
