....lybob Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 After watching the three Ms McKelvin, Merriman, and Moore I'm convinced that if Mckelvin had played from the start that we'd have another win right now and if in addition Moore and Merriman had been given the reps Kelsey and Anderson got we'd have 2 more wins and be 6 wins 4 loses right now. Maybe this happens with a lot of teams but with the Bills it seems like when the starter is injured there is a 50% chance that the second stringer is better. It makes me wonder just how good this group of coaches are with player evaluation and are there any other second stringers or even practice squad players who are better than the starters.
NoSaint Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 I think we do as well as any, honestly. It's been an issue across regimes because its an issue around the league. I won't say we're the best but not the worst either. Sometimes guys prove coaches wrong, other times they overachieve based on being super hyped for the game and the opponent knowing little about them and not taking them serious but come back to earth a few games later.
