Dennis in NC Posted August 31, 2004 Share Posted August 31, 2004 Very interesting article on Rod Trafford. As a player, he sounds like Mularkey. He was an all-state QB in high school. If he is a good H-back, could he beat out Shelton for that spot? Do you guys (and gals) think Shelton will make the team? I've read that Shelton has whiffed on a few blocks. Stay tuned. stevewin Posted August 31, 2004 Share Posted August 31, 2004 I noticed that too - wasn't thinking 'slash' as much as if he is going to be in the backfield there is always that possibility of a trick play where he throws. The nice thing about trick plays like that out of certain formations and personnel packages is that if you do it once then teams need to be on their heels if you show them the same look later in the year.
