stuckincincy
If you think the 300 is sweet, you should have tried it's predecessor -the LHS. The 300 just doesn't match up. I know this belief is shared by many WNY'ers who have had them both. 183576[/snapback] ???? The LHS was based on the front-wheel drive Intrepid. Other names used were Concorde and 300/300m. The 300 name is used for the new rear-wheel drive chassis, now. The "old" 300M Special (the most powerful version of the Intrepid family) has a V-6 rated at 255 hp, whereas the "new" 300 can be had with a 340 hp V-8. Also, this coming Spring, Chrysler will introduce the SRT-8 version of the 300, with 400 hp and various chassis modifications (per SAE Automotive Engineering magazine, issue of Oct. 2004).
