Hammered a Lot Posted August 29, 2011 Share Posted August 29, 2011 I heard reports of the Thruway instant message boards stating that Abbott Rd was closed to traffic. Help me out. Did anyone else see this message? Erie County put up a ROAD CLOSED sign at Abbott and Big Tree (In front of the Big Tree Inn) which is not what was advertised. We the locals) had the barrier removed but 97rock continued to report that Abbott Rd was closed between Southwestern and Big Tree, for hours after the barrier was removed. Monday, after contacting the Town of Orchard Park supervisior, we were told that the barrier was put up by "Human Error"! Human error right.
