bowery4 Posted July 28, 2011 Share Posted July 28, 2011 Actually think Scott Chandler will surprise us this year, 6'7" 272 almost as tall as Metz but bigger. Is that you Buddy? (sorry, couldn't help myself) I would love to be surprised but can he catch and run routes? Is he a difference maker? I want Miller (1st) or Boss if they can swing it and isn't the soft cap helpful if they want to re-up Williams, Fitz and Stevie? He just made that lucky play in the SuperBowl and people remember him mostly for that. We could just get the guy from Pittsburg for a lot cheaper and same results, or do the right thing and make Miller the highest paid TE. Sure he would be about the 5th-10th best getting paid that, but it would be better than paying Boss like a top 5 TE when he's not even in the top 20, not even close really.
