Does anyone know if there's plans to honor that team? On-field I would hope for at least one game in the retro jerseys; or one home and one away. Lori Posted August 30, 2004 Share Posted August 30, 2004 "Alumni Day" is scheduled for the home opener, and every living member of the '64 championship team has been invited back for an on-field ceremony. (Yup, even Lou Saban and Cookie, although don't be surprised if they're both no-shows...) Sounds like most of them have already confirmed they'll be attending.
