KRT88 Posted January 10, 2010 Share Posted January 10, 2010 I hate the Cowboys but I am glad they won yesterday. Now their ability to go into UFA in the off season has been serverly limited. Most people are unaware that the last 8 teams, can only match the value of players they to UFA. Therefore, JJ can't go out and bring in a new 50million guy because he wants to. Too bad the Redskins also didnt make the final 8, because those to idiots are some of the key players in in driving up overall costs. I also find it rather odd that no one ever gives Ralph credit for being right about the last CBA extention. The next CBA will be a complete bear to get done since the owners cannot even agree and no deal can be struck until those two sides figure something out. KRT88 Posted January 10, 2010 Author Share Posted January 10, 2010 Come again read the CBA the final 8 teams in the playoffs in an uncapped year cannot add value to the cap, they can only match the value of what they lose to UFA. the uncapped year isn't truly uncapped.
