Indirectly, this is possibly a huge hit to Notre Dame as well. Quinn had been with Kelly for 20+ years and it was widely presumed that Kelly would be recruiting him to ND after Cincy's bowl game. I know Kelly calls his plays anyway, but I would have liked his right-hand man to accompany him. Sounds like UB might have gotten a good coach though. We'll see... He's had a hand in Kellys success and should be able to put together a potent offense. I was surprised when I read this. Like almost everybody,I figured Quinn would follow Kelly to ND.
