Different strokes for different folks!

Everytime I open a magazine I have to see some homoerotic picture of Tom Brady. Is anybody else just tired of this guy??? Does anyone hate him as much as I do??? Please tell me.
You mean ... like this? Yeah, I've had it with the homo. I hope we break his freakin' knee in the first quarter of the opener.

He should live on a plane or perhaps a blimp that constantly circles the Buffalo area and only lands for practice and games. Who would not want to live on a blimp?
Better yet, he could parachute in!

1. OJ
1.a. Carruth
3. Little.
4. Vick.
5. Stallworth.
OJ slaughtered two, Carruth slaughtered 2.
Stallworth never ran, called, 911, manned up and paid off the family.
Carruth's girlfriend died from the shooting, but his son was delivered prematurely and damaged from the attack. This story is almost five years old...
TOMMY TOMLINSON
The Charlotte Observer
The little boy plays on his mother's grave.
His name is Chancellor Adams and Tuesday is his birthday. He's 5 and he has cerebral palsy He sprawls on a purple blanket and the leg braces show under his pants legs. He grins so wide you can see every tooth but the grin never makes it to his eyes. The grown-ups are trying to keep him on the blanket and change out the flowers on the grave marker and somebody forgets to hold down the birthday balloon. The moment they turn their backs it slips off through the tree branches, up and gone, the smiling clown on the balloon floating over the cemetery. The whole scene is sad and disturbing and beautiful all at once, and there is a terrible kind of logic to it, life and death and joy and anger all twisted together here at Sunset Memory Gardens. Chancellor's mother is the late Cherica Adams. His father is Rae Carruth. And maybe that explains the rest. Five years ago, as she drove on a dark stretch of Rea Road, Cherica was shot four times. In the hours after the shooting, she fingered Carruth -- a Carolina Panthers wide receiver -- as the one who was responsible. She died nearly a month later, on Dec. 14, 1999. By then police had arrested Carruth and three other men. The others pleaded guilty. One admitted shooting Cherica and said Carruth set it up. Carruth was convicted of conspiracy to commit murder and is serving nearly 19 years. Saundra Adams, Cherica's mother, takes care of Chancellor. She threw him a birthday party Sunday, but thought the public ought to be reminded of Cherica and Chancellor. So she invited reporters to the gravesite off Lawyers Road. Talk comes around to the news that Carruth plans to keep appealing his conviction. One reporter asks Saundra: Do you wish all this was over with? "It'll never be over with," she said. "My daughter's gone." And Chancellor is here. He looks like Cherica. He looks like Rae. He was born in chaos. While he was in the womb, one of the bullets that hit Cherica missed him by an inch. Doctors had to deliver him by emergency C-section, at least a month early. Most 5-year-olds tear around the house and talk until they run out of breath. But here is Chancellor. "Blow a kiss," Saundra says. It takes a couple of seconds for the thought to take hold. Then Chancellor pulls his right hand toward his mouth, so slowly he could be under water. Every step is a separate motion. Touch mouth. Move hand. Blow. Saundra's friend Judy Williams stands off to the side, about to cry. Williams is one of the founders of Mothers of Murdered Offspring. She has brought more balloons -- six purple ones. The group has chosen purple as the color of peace. Saundra helps Chancellor grip the ribbons, and then they let go. It's almost noon and Chancellor has school. (He goes to a day care for kids with developmental disabilities.) Saundra takes one hand and Judy takes the other and they help Chancellor walk to the car. His whole face broadcasts joy. Saundra latches the child safety seat and closes the back door and Chancellor waves from inside the warm car. Saundra stays outside to talk for a few minutes, there in the cemetery, a few steps from the grave. She looks up for a second. The balloons are long gone into the gray. She pulls her coat tight against the cold. What a shame. A little child support from a guy who could easily afford it and all of this could have been avoided.

You're treading on slippery ground now. The arrest was based on a police report of probable cause, not a report filed by the girlfriend:
"A probable cause affidavit states Hardy struck his girlfriend of seven years and their infant son.
In the statement, though, Hardy's attorneys insist Hardy's arrest was "based solely on misunderstandings and an unfortunate communication collapse between the parties involved," and they also suggested the arrest was based on assumptions and inferences that are not only inaccurate but couldn't stand up in court."
I can't prove that he hit the kid, you can't prove he didn't. Who cares?
-
She said she was trying to "get him". What part of that don't you understand?
After the fact. There was an incident of domestic abuse. It was basically swept under the rug. The girlfriend's statement was part of damage control. What part of that do you not understand?
-
Social services isn't going to simply walk away if hardy actually hit his infant son (which he didn't). He did smack his girlfriend around, but just because his son was in the room, doesn't mean that he hit his son. You're simply making things up at this point.
The girlfriend filed a police report stating that she and the baby were hit. That is not made up.

Prosecutors dismiss charges against Hardy
From staff and wire reports
Allen County prosecutors dismissed a domestic assault case against an Indiana University football player this week after he successfully completed anger management and communication counseling.
James W. Hardy, 20, a 2004 Elmhurst High School graduate, was arrested May 19 and charged with misdemeanor counts of domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of a crime. Hardy had been scheduled to face a jury trial on the charges in August but reached an agreement with prosecutors the week before. On Thursday, a spokeswoman for the prosecutor's office said Hardy had successfully completed all the requirements of the six-month, pre-trial diversion program in which he entered, and that prosecutors had dismissed the charges.
In August, prosecutors agreed to dismiss the charges against Hardy if he received counseling to improve his communication skills and anger management. Additionally, he was required to pay $315 in court costs, which he had already done.
He was charged in May after Fort Wayne police responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 3500 block of South Hanna Street. When officers arrived just after 5:30 p.m., they found Hardy's girlfriend, 22, the mother of his infant son, sitting in the grass crying. Her shirt was torn and she had reddish marks on her neck, according to court records.
Although a probable cause affidavit stated Hardy struck his girlfriend of seven years and their son, the girlfriend testified in June that she was emotional and called 911 because she was trying to "get him."
So he took a plea bargain and patched things up with his girlfriend. There's a difference between having charges dismissed and being innocent.

Again Know the fact.........He did NOT shove his child in any way shape or form.
Are you in denial? Here is another reference.
But off the field, trouble followed. He was arrested on May 19 on charges of domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of a crime, after his girlfriend accused him of hitting her and the couple's infant child.Hardy, 21, was arrested in May in his hometown of Fort Wayne and was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery after an alleged attack on his girlfriend and their infant son. He avoided a trial on the criminal charges by agreeing to take part in a pretrial diversion program in August.Robyn Niedzweicki, spokeswoman for the Allen County prosecutor's office, said the charge was dismissed Wednesday after Hardy completed the six-month program. Hardy received counseling in communication improvement and anger management at his own expense, authorities said.
So, there are the facts. Hardy did abuse his girlfriend and 1 year old son. He then got off with a 6 month program and public apology. Not very difficult for a star athlete and potential first round pick to have an incident like this swept under the rug in a college town. If you have evidence to prove otherwise, do so instead of merely saying "know the fact."

Classy.....Know your facts
Uhhh, here are the facts.
This is Hardy’s biggest issue going into the draft. In 2006 he was arrested for domestic battery in an incident with his girlfriend and his child. -

The young man’s heart is in a good place.
Were any infant children beaten at the event?

Dick Jauron should visualize his testicles descending.

The look on Irvings face, when Lange was ripping on the Cowboys was priceless...almost looked like he hit the crack pipe again...he had this huge, nervous smile the whole time...like he couldn't believe what he was hearing...
I like Costas way more than Buck, but perhaps it will be alright...
Lange's appearance is making headlines. I wish I would have watched more, but I was only interested in what Favre had to say.
Artie Lange hijacked Joe Buck’s new HBO show from Brett Favre on Monday night. That’s not the way the premiere of “Joe Buck Live,” the successor to “Costas Live,” was supposed to go. Lange, a comedian on Howard Stern’s Sirius satellite radio show, stealing the spotlight from Favre, the quarterback who keeps coming back? The bookend to the show was a panel show featuring Lange, the actor Paul Rudd, and Jason Sudeikis of “Saturday Night Live.” The latter two need not have shown up for this as was Lange staging a hostile takeover. His scatological, homophobic, insult act was delivered with a sort of blithe and gleeful explosiveness that threw Buck a bit. This 10-minute trap on the stage at the Equitable Center’s auditorium in Midtown Manhattan was unlike any live TV Buck had ever practiced with Tim McCarver or Troy Aikman. -
I watched it but bailed right after Favre's interview. I was surprised that the show is only going to be on 4 times a year.

My $.02 -- if you're not a homer, then what the hell are you doing even choosing a favorite team? I'm tired of all the "realists" in the group whose only purpose in life (or so it seems) is to let everyone else know how bad things are. Give me the overly optimistic sap who believes his team is winning it all each year, hands down. They're more fun to be around, and when things finally do go our way I'll feel good celebrating with them.
Hmmmm. I guess I could give this happy homer thing a try.
Dick Jauron is a great coach. He has one winning season out of nine, zero playoff wins, and is 19 games below .500 in his career. But none of that is his fault and he is poised to prove that he is not a loser any season now. I am sooooooo glad we locked him up for three years before the competition stole him from us!
We haven't seen the playoffs in nine years but look out in '09! We couldn't take advantage of Tom Brady's absence last year but N.E. with a rusty Brady is no match for Dick's fierce Tampa 2. Miami sucks and Parcells just got lucky. Who wants to go from 1-15 to 11-5 in just one season? Give me the 15 year rebuilding plan anytime! The Jets suck too. Sanchez will never amount to anything, we already know from experience what happens when you draft a qb in the first round. Plus they have a blow-hard meat head coach who boasted that he's not here to kiss Belichick's ring and guaranteed a Supr Bowl within three years. I prefer a spineless, submissive B word for a head coach!
Going 0-6 against the division and 3-5 at home was just part of a brilliant scheme by Jauron to instill overconfidence in our opponents. This way, we can take them all by surprise in '09!
Aaron Maybin is a football God!!! He will wreak havoc on O-lines across the NFL, leaving a trail of battered and broken qb's in his wake.
Our patchwork O-line will make the 80's hogs look like a pop warner unit.
Trent Edwards' run to Canton will begin in earnest this season as he teams up with T.O., Evans, and Reed to shatter records for completions, yardage, and touchdowns in a season. He will also master the cold and wind -- without a glove!!!
-- Is this the type of thinking required to be accepted by the "glass is overflowing" crowd?
If so, count me out.

I live in South Florida and they always have commercials for Hardees and Sonic yet there isnt one within a 200 mile range. Whats the deal with that?
I had company from Buffalo for Memorial Day and they said the same thing about Sonic and Chic-fil-A.

I heard from a very credible source that the Bills have their sights set on

And there are still fans out here who think Lost-man is a starting QB in the NFL? He just needs the right system, a fresh start, a better team. The only people who disagree with you are all 32 NFL GM's and head coaches.
A little over a month ago, the rumor was that the Panthers and Texans were considering JP. Well I guess Houston did consider him, and then decided that Grossman was better.
-
You know what that means... our very own JP Losman is now officially the cutest ugly girl in the bar at closing time. The dude who quoted a dude who quoted Yoda is now a training camp injury away from returning to an NFL roster. Stay tuned.

Can gorgeous teeth on a woman be considered sexy? Yes. For some women, a beautiful smile can be their best feature. I could name a few more features that are higher on the attraction list than teeth or smile though.
