  1. I was just listening to ESPN NY and Anita Marks said she spoke with Tyrod Taylor at the NFLPA party last night. She said she really liked him and that he wanted to come back to Buffalo. Also, that he had been speaking with the coaching staff. But as far as the front office, his representation hasn't received a phone call regarding his future since the end of the season. He referred to the communication as "crickets". She also said the Bills genuinely do have an interest in Romo, and the Cardinals have a high level of interest in Tyrod. Don't know if this means anything, but thought it was odd there hasn't even been a phone call. In addition, regarding the Jets, Chris Canty said he has inside knowledge that the Jets have serious interest in a QB he couldn't name that is on another team right now and it's not Mike Glennon. (They speculated it was Kaepernick).

  2. I care. And I am not angry that others don't nor do I assume that they do or that they should. Hence the amount of coverage, be it too much, too little or too shallow, doesn't bother me.

I would like to suggest however that for someone who doesn't "f'in care" you have some highly developed thoughts about his behavior in locker rooms. Suggesting, as you do, that this a valid concern, I wonder if you can point me to a study or some other body of evidence which justifies your deep concern for how gay men generally conduct themselves in locker rooms? Funny how his college teammates didn't seem to be bothered but perhaps they just don't understand gay people as well as you do.

    very well said!

  3. This is all stupid. If the Bills drafted him, I would cancel my season club seats and not watch football.

It is about what is right and what is wrong!

You are what is wrong with the world you !@#$! You have no way of knowing how many gay players played or do play currently for Buffalo. Sam was brave enough to come out. I am not gay, have a loving wife and a 4 month old daughter, and your dark age thinking is what drags people and society down. I for one am embarrased to be the fan of the same team as you.

  4. I haven't seen this posted anywhere else so I apoiogize if this has been mentioned, but I read that ESPN blogger Louis Riddick feels that there could be huge turmoil as far as Mauel goes and he may not be close to the future guy, causing concern for the draft. I don't agree, as I think it's too early to give up on a QB who only played half the season. Here is the excerpt from Rotoworld.com and link.

ESPN's Louis Riddick calls the Bills' quarterback situation "one I could see going off the rails in a bad way very quickly."

He believes there are "not many excuses left for Buffalo to not start seriously contending in their division."

  5. I'm not so sure if either player is worth #9 overall.

I know every individual is different but there is such a long track record of 'Bama and LSU defenders being so-so in the NFL and not living up to their premium draft position.

    … cough … cough … Dareus … cough … cough … Sheppard. … cough … cough.

At this point, I'd be hard pressed to pick one if the two if I had to choose.

    Flip a coin.

Why does everyone rip on Dareus so much. His play was up and down this year but he's still very young and at times he was dominant. In addition, he made the Pro Bowl this year as a replacement. I think we could do a lot worse than him and his ceiling still hasn't been reached yet.

  6. Maybe someday but he has the worst 5 year record of any head coach to last 5 years since the mid 70s, so it seems fitting he's taking a step back first.

This actually is a good thing. He is still due money so he could have sat out looking for another HC gig but he didn't. I would imagine he wants to be a HC again in the NFL. The fact that he was still due millions, and STILL took this job, must mean he has supreme confidence in the players that are here. That's a good sign. Especially for someone who, I believe, would want to be a head coach again. He thinks he can add to his resume with this group. I think its a fantastic signing. Losing Pettine hurt, but we still sucked against the run and hes great against the run. We have the personel to get it done too. Also, with a young coaching staff, bringing in someone with so much experience can only help. Love the move
