  1. I like this move. Pettine comes in and works the D with someone he has been working with for a while. I like this
  2. @MMehtaNYDN: More changes for the Jets. Assistant DBs coach Jim O'Neil will join Mike Pettine as a member of his Bills' staff, per source. #nyj
  3. @hsimon62: Marrone studied Oregon Ducks offense!!! What will Doug Marrone's Buffalo Bills look like? - http://t.co/CVbtcpQ6 http://t.co/8g1FnLLX
  4. Ron Raccuia ‏@RonRaccuia For all those judging a book by its cover.....Nathaniel Hackett will be an NFL coaching star. Just watch!!
  5. From some Cuse people: *Hacket was the recruiting key on offense. This one really hurts and I would argue that it hurts more than losing Marrone. Dammmmmmmm! *Starting to wonder how much Marrone really cares about his alma mater. I was fine with him wanting to take the step into the NFL, but now it appears as though he wants to leave Schaefer high and dry. I am starting to really fear what the product will look like on the field next year. With Schaefer and Hackett, I was confident that we would be okay. Now, I just see a lot of question marks. I can't wait to see what other coaches Marrone steals from us.
  6. Brian Ayrault ‏@BrianAyrault Hackett ran the K-Gun offense at Syracuse this year. Hackett picked up the offense from Jim Kelly and AVP when he was the QCC in BUF
  7. Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet Think #Billsmafia may like Nathaniel Hackett: Jim Kelly gave him the 90s playbook when Hackett was an assistant with Bills in 08 #KGun
  8. Brent Axe ‏@BrentAxeMedia Hackett's offense set all kinds of records at Syracuse this season. One of the most prolific in the history of SU. And it was fun to watch.
  9. @Ryan4Niles: Is it wrong of me to be more upset about Hackett leaving Syracuse than Marrone?
  10. Little info on him: http://m.espn.go.com/general/blogs/blogpost?blogname=bigeast&id=35222&tag=nathaniel-hackett
  11. @SalSports: That said, we know coaches like to hire coaches they feel they work well with and are comfortable with. More high risk high reward here. @ByTimGraham: New Bills offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett at a glance http://t.co/Zb6NZgWm
  12. @SalSports: Hackett did a great job with the #Syracuse offense this season and especially with Ryan Nassib. But boy this is a big leap for him.
  13. Again... @ByTimGraham: Nathaniel Hackett will be the Bills' next offensive coordinator.
  14. People are saying he is suppose to be a "rising star". Lets find out more about this guy before bashing him.
  15. @ByTimGraham: Nathaniel Hackett will be the Bills' next offensive coordinator.
  16. @BrentAxeMedia: Keep in mind, nothing is confirmed right now. But I did hear today that Hackett got the offer to go to Buffalo. Can Gross counter-move?
  17. Sal Capaccio ‏@SalSports Please stop looking at an old bio of Hackett at Bills website. That was from his earlier time with the team as Off Quality Control Coach.
  18. Sal Capaccio ‏@SalSports So we're all clear, last night report Hackett staying at SU. Today report he's going to Bills. No confirmation from either side either way.
  19. Brent Axe ‏@BrentAxeMedia Hackett put in a lot of the same elements the Bills K-gun offense used to run at SU. And he would fit with the youth movement in Buffalo
  20. Brett McMurphy ‏@McMurphyESPN Nathaniel Hackett expected to stay at Syracuse npw joining Doug Marrone w/Buffalo Bills ITs official. He is coming to Buffalo. But hopefully not as a OC. We need better experience in that position.
  21. He wouldnt be coming as OC, not at all. but he would as Quality control
  22. He was OC in CUSE and will be coming to Buffalo as Quality Control coach. Sounds good to me.... responsibilities include a variety of areas on the offensive side of the ball such as analysis of opponents’ defensive tendencies, implementation of scout team efforts during practices and analysis of Bills offensive plays, just to name a few.
