How could you say "unles it directly prevents a guaranteed sack" when your playing a QB in the likes of Vick. If our guys weren't getting held you never know what would have happened.
I mean a defender running free towards the QB being grabbed from behind. Or something similar. Being five yards away and having your jersey tugged isn't going to result in a penalty this year apparently.

I was at the game. Can anyone tell me why the onside kick to open the 2nd half needed to be done over? Did they explain it on tv?
Ref never blew the whistle to start play.

Holding calls stunt offensive production, and the league wants there to be more scoring.
I'm guessing that the refs were told to let it go unless it directly prevents a guaranteed sack.

Drew Pearson only has 7,000 career receiving yards and 48 TDs. But he's more deserving than Sharpe who has 10,000 receiving yards and 82 TDs? That's crazy.
Ricky Watters is only the 15th leading rusher in history, but he's more deserving than the best TE in NFL history? (maybe 2nd best behind Gonzalez).

He's 33 years old and only had 1 sack last year. I'd rather see what the youngsters have.

Well if he's not good enough/healthy enough to play for the Raiders, why would we waste a roster spot on him?
He'd be the John McCargo of the Offensive Line.

Just got out of a relationship with a girl from work. BAD IDEA!!!! We shared a lot of the same friends and there a a ton of awkward situations now. Just a bad vibe at work now.
