THIS HAS NEVER BEEN BROUGHT UP BEFORE! Can we create one consolidated post for the whiners? Seriously. It's tired. Did you bother to take a look at how good those defenses were that won? Did you bother to see how they played in the playoffs and how they compared to the oppositions defense?
Which elite QB should we get?

The Bills are a bargain basement team that we all love to hate because of stupid draft picks, losses in super bowls and playoff games and giving away games we should have won.
TO answer your question, I suggested that we make the move to go after Andrew Luck whatever it takes !

Elite QB’s go to and win Super Bowls period!
First let me say Congratulations to the Giants on winning the Super Bowl.
Second, winning the Super Bowl in the last 13 years requires an elite QB to guide you to a victory in 11 out of the last 13 years.
The stats get stronger when you go back say 20+ years to all the great Dallas and SF teams led by Aikman, Montana and Young.
In the last 13 years only Baltimore and Tampa both of which had suffocating defenses were able to win with just average QB play.
2012 – Eli Manning vs Tom Brady
2011 – Aaron Rodgers vs Big Ben
2010 – Drew Brees vs Peyton Manning
2009 – Big Ben vs Kurt Warner
2008 - Eli Manning vs Tom Brady
2007 – Peyton Manning vs Rex Grossman
2006 – Big Ben vs Matt Hasselbeck
2005 - Tom Brady vs Donavan McNabb
2004 – Tom Brady vs Jake Delhomme
2003 – Brad Johnson vs Rich Gannon
2002 – Tom Brady vs Kurt Warner
2001 - Trent Dilfer vs Kerry Collins

This being said The Bills need an elite QB if they ever want to win a Super Bowl.
Sure Fitz is better than JP, Trent, Billy Jo, Collins, and the cast of misfits Buffalo has had since Kelly retired except for Flutie and Bledsoe.
But in my opinion he is a 60 million dollar backup. How many other teams would he start for maybe a few, but those teams are on the bottom of the **** heap also.
Its time to make the move into modern times and go after a winner like Andrew Luck, its about the only thing that will save the Bills.

We need better DE, Kelsey isn't the Answer, Carrington is a maybe the 1& 2 down guy and ( but he's going to have to lose some weight that he gained last year) Moats maybe on passing downs as a Pass rusher and Carrington leaves. The Other side who knows?

Adding a team in Toronto makes sense because you bring in a large city and all kinds of Canadian fans to the NFL. Other Canadian cities could be added in the future as well.
Orlando would be a Great NFL City if only they would build a new stadium that wasn't in the Ghetto.
L.A. - Yes they want a team in L.A. Maybe even 2. The NFL wants more teams in the West
How About Vegas, or is there too much room for "gambling and Mob issues?

Buffalo is now the 3rd poorest city in the US, so why would anyone think we would have great hotels.

Fred's contract is for another year, but he was to get paid now. Yes Fred is deserving he was having a great season before he got hurt. Why don't the Bills simply give him a bonus, and say thank you for a job well done. A million dollars still goes a long way !

This site and the BuffaloBills.com site always love to tell us what guys like Whitner, Poz, Maybin, Edwards, Clements, and the other guys that used to play for the Bills are doing now. WHO F-ing cares! We live in a world wide web culture, If i really wanted to know what any of these guys were doing I could look for myself,or turn on the TV. Instead we always seem to have the reports of who is doing what and where and if they are doing well, the peanut gallery is quick to comment how the Bills were dumb not to re-sign them. This chat board is full of experts who monitor the every move of the Bills and Jerry Sullivan editorials. Get a LIFE, I could care less what Whitner,Clements, or Maybin are doing !

Every year Bills fan Billieve that the Bills are going to make a splash and sign guys like Peyton Manning, who would never play here for a variety of reasons. Instead we get the Tyler Thigpen's and the Langston Walkers. Buffalo is the Black hole of sports, Cleveland is it's second cousin.
Until Ralph Dies and the Bills are under new management and committed to winning it will be that way. Chan Gailey, The new Uniforms and the new turf is nothing more than lipstick on a pig !

I thought they were going to call a helmet to helmet which the hit was, not a word was uttered on TV. I guess that rule doesn't apply in the playoffs?
What happens if they did call it is the fumble over turned or does it stand ? They didn't even call a penalty !

LT is important,but we have no pass rush at all, and don't even say we have Merriman. cuz he got hurt the first 5 minutes of practice last year just lacing up his shoes. He is a shell of what he used to be. We gambled on him and so far we have lost, but the Bills follow the three strike rule, well keep him until camp and see what he can and can't do !
That being said we need Pass Rushers, - ala Bruce Smith guys who can bring the heat from OLB or DE which ever way we need to bring the heat !
Hopefully the Bills won't try and out think all the other 31 teams and draft some no name from God knows where,find the best Pass Rusher and Draft him in the most appropiate round.

I hope not, he's a way better DC than head Coach, just like Wade Phillips, Or Norv Turner on Offense, some guys are great at what they do an and suck as being the head Coach !

So the question is what is your opinion on what "no excuses" means. Following this organization since the early 90's (hence my user name) in the old days Ralph Wilson would want someone's head for disappointing seasons -- i.e. DC Walt Corey in 1995, ST coach Ronnie Jones in 2000 (though Wade refused and quit), and Gregg Williams after the collapse of 2003. Over the past few years it's clear that Wilson and his minions have let things slide such as allowing Mike Mularkey to coach after the 5-11 season in 2005 (he saw the writing on the wall and resigned), and allowing Dick Jauron to remain HC despite a very very poor season in 2008 that saw another collapse. For these reasons, I don't feel that Buffalo will fire Chan Gailey, but I do get the impression that his 3 year contract won't be renewed if he goes 6-10 again.
This leads me to believe that George Edwards will finally be fired and rightfully so.
Leave it to Buddy, to wait a week until all the other guys that got fired today to do anything. In typical 6-10 Buffalo fashion, Buffalo waits while others make moves to improve.
Buddy needs to be put out to pasture... Im sorry but we dont need a 70 year old GM, who paid a career backup more money than Jim Kelly !

Its a Funny thing I agree that the Bills going 10 - 22 in Gaileys 2 seasosn isnt good and you throw is the 8 game losing streaks and he has career loser written all over him. The Bills need to turn the page of lots of things and Chan Gailey is one of them ... !
