The Colts are also shopping Dallas Clark at TE, a 9 year yet making 8 million a year. He hasn't played a full season in the last 2 years. He could be a good stop gap at TE for 2 years with an option for 3 and he could mentor Chandler. But the Price of say 3-5 Million a year.

Lets say that for the sake of argument that Peyton goes to Washington and Cleveland Signs Flynn that leaves Jacksonville in drivers seat, unless Miami trades foolishly trades picks for RG3. Jax picks #7 and I see an opportunity for the Bills to jump the Dolphins and pick RG3 at 7

Green Bay is the Smallest Nfl Franchise, yet one of the most successful. The weather in the winter is similiar to Buffalo and If you like Sausage and cheese its the place to be. Winning Cures everything, when the Bills were winning, Bryce Paup ,Quinn Early, James Lofton, Chris Spielman all Marqee names back then wanted to be here. We also managed to resign our horses back then even Bruce who was almost shipped to Denver in a trade, but the Bills stepped up and paid him. Now they need to do it again pay the Good Players to come there, play for a city and win a championship. They also have to suffer thru eating at bad restaurants and not having a nite life like south beach !

Having a healthy Peyton Manning makes every NFL team better. Peyton coming to Buffalo would be so over the top. Imagine number 18 in red white and blue, the Bills would gain some respect sure. I'd offer him $ 1 dollar to play here with a 35 Million dollar bonus if he wins the Super Bowl, does anyone know if he likes wings and beef on weck ? I'll bet the mayor would give him the key to the city like he did for T.O.

He peaked in year 2 and has declined in sacks, tackles and FF's every year I think we as Bills Fans are still looking for the second coming of Bruce Smith, and while he would be better than Kelsey or any of the rest of the guys we have,I think for the 15-20 million he will command he ain't worth it .

I remember a play when the Bills were playing the Jets and Bruce beat the Left tackle so bad he was in the backfield and crushed Boomer so hard , I thought Boomer was dead, he was motionless on the ground. It was a clean hard hit by Bruce.
I also remember the NFC Championship when they interviewed Favre he looked like an beat up old man in the presser. NFl fans pay huge money to watch games. We loved it when Guys like Bruce, Reggie and LT Crushed Qb's thats their job, and the guys today like Harrison, Suh it still their job as long as they hit them in the NFL designated hit zone.

To answer your Question: Yes, just as all White QB's will be compared to Leaf, Couch or a host of other failed white QB's. I didnt make the rules, Just turn on your TV, ESPN or FOX will make the comparison. You know I'm right !
Blacks have done very well in all facets of the NFL with a gaping hole at QB. Sure there are a some exceptions, like, Williams, McNabb, Vick, Cunningham, Moon, Evans, and McNair, but why are the majority of NFL starting QB's white ? I don't have that answer, ask the Owners and GM's who draft them.
Doug Williams is the only Black QB Super Bowl. McNabb & Kordell Stewart, David Garrard, Seneca, Wallace, Jason Campbell, Tavares Jackson and Heisman winner Troy Smith and Mike Vick haven't yet, Vince Young isn't the star he was at Texas. Jamarcus Russsell, who isn't even the NFL anymore after being the # 1 pick. Of course there are others who have played in the Wildcat role or as backups and done well, some changed to WR, some left after a few years its a mixed bag.
Black QB's just aren't as successful as white QB's in the NFL. Fans and the media will continue to scrutinize the Black QB until they start winning Super Bowl titles on a regular basis. Griffin and Cam Newton are the next in line who are being given a crack at the brass ring, I wish them both well.

You are assuming of course that RG3 is more Cam Newton and not Jemarcus Russell. I think in a year where the talent is in the top 5 and were not in the top 5 a crazy deal like this necessary. Lets also realize that if Fitzy gets hurt were screwed because Brad Johnson and the other dude aint got much. Fitzy is a glorified backup who was given a place to shine, but he is nothing more than a backup starting because we draft to poorly.

Sure cut Fitz save 49 million and go after RG3 suffer with him for a year until he figures out the Pro game !
If we found a draft pick that was the face of the franchise for 10 years i think everyone would be ok with that as long as he was a winner !

I like the idea of not having to worry about LT for the next 10 years, and if the guys there and Nix feels that strongly, then im OK with drafting tackle at that spot...my main concern is it HAS to be a cant miss prospect (as much as you can have one in the draft) much like Dareus was safe and "cant miss" last year...
Martin, should solidify the LT for 4 years anyway until his contract comes due.
THe draft is where you stock the shelf, Free agency is where you should fine tune!

McGee, is a goner, Edwards is a bubble guy but my gut says he's gone, Merriman got 2 years of paychecks for what 6 games out of 32. Cut him loose!

Sign him and Draft another LT. Always gotta have a backup !
