I would love to see them take Cook in the 2nd.

Great move, everyone wanted us to do something big in FA and I don't think it can get any bigger than that.
-
I agree I think Ayers would be a steal in the 2nd round and would love to have him.
-
Moss, because even if he takes a play off the defense still has to account for him. If he keeps staying out of trouble at some point you have to separate him from T O type behavior.
-
If used correctly he be a nice pick up for us. It would be nice to put a little fear in the opposing team's WR's.

i would not be mad if the bills draft pettigrrew in the first
I liked J. Cook before the combine and would love the bills to take him.

There is no doubt that he athletic attributes are amazing. I just question if he is a football player.
Look at Vernon Davis, he ran a 4.38
where is he now?
Cook's biggest problem was the qb position at SC. I'm from SC and his ability is legit. With no running game and an unsettled qb situation his numbers are hurting some, but If he's around I hope they take him.

M. Morris might be worth a look IMO.

Northeastern Nuthuggers.
Pure Genius, I Love It.

I agree, Troy never got a chance. He was supposed to have a chance to compete for the spot but nobody saw Flacco coming.
I heard he was suppose to start this year, but he got sick and Flacco took over.

I think Peters was the only player in the NFL to hold out until the season started.
Just saying you can't cast out every hold out. It's almost a certainty that some other big name will hold out this year and the next. It's the players bargaining weapon. I don't like it but that's what they do.
-
Agreed! If you determine he can't make the switch you can still use him elsewhere. If you take a late round pocket passer and he fails, it's just a wasted pick. That's why I'd take a shot on White before some other project qb.
-
Players hold out all the time, that's the nature of the business. Trading him after everybody already knows our line problems makes no sense. If I were Jauron with the state of the team and probably having to win this season, I'd push for them to get the situation handled as soon as possible. The Faneca situation doesn't help us. I don't want to see him play great for somebody else!

Why do people seem to forget that running ability is part of what make some qb's great. Anybody remember J. Elway or S. Young. Every year we hear that running qb's can't play in the NFL and people seem to forget that some already won a Superbowl. The key is finding one that can pass as well. Why not take a chance on a gifted athlete. Look how many pocket passers that get drafted never develop into quality qb's. At least with the added skills he could do more than just hold a clip-board every Sunday.

As far as receiving TE's I like Jared Cook from the Gamecocks. I think we can get him in round 2 or 3 and still get line help we need in te 1st. If by some miracle Crabtree is there he is the pick. You have to take him even if you package him later.

Come on, nobody deserves that! Don't forget not too long ago that was one of us!

I think we need a defense that can adjust based on who we play. I think our biggest problem is being predictable. The thing about the attacking defenses is you can't predetermine what they are going to do. Way to many teams exploited our scheme. DE covering backs, no pass rush, and predictable blitzes. Either they sign big time DL help or this scheme is doomed to fail.

I still like their helmets
Better than the white ones.

What were Johnson's numbers compared to these guys

If they fail in 09 maybe they can grab a big name coach next year.
The T.O. fallout: How he affects rest of NFL

Regardless of his attitude, teams will have change how they play the Bills offense. Hate him or Love him he's a game changer and the rest of the AFC east knows it.
