  1. That's how I heard it too. He sounded really down just base off of tone. In addition, things like:

Q: "Were on initially onboard or did you have to be convinced about this trade?"  A: "Well, I'm always going to listen when presented with options..."

That being said, it shows a bit of weakness in his leadership. How is he supposed to make the team feel good about the moves if he talks like his high school sweetheart just slept with his best friend?
  2. Wow. I was nervous being the first to respond and recommend not bringing the kids. I didn't want to come off as a jerk. Much happier now that everyone seems to be in agreement. I idea of it and the excitements from a new dad's perspective is completely understandable. My daughter was 2 days old when the Bills played on MNF and I have pictures of me holding her up my the TV screen. Taking the kids to games is awesome when the situation is right and they are ready to handle it.

  3. Honestly, my advise would be to leave them home so you can have fun.

At that age, they will not remember any of the experience.

I love taking my kids to the games and passing on the love for the Bills, but I didn't start until they were old enough to enjoy it (4-5yrs old).

If you're taking them to a preseason game, you probably won't have any issues with drunks or anything like that.

  4. This is a pretty odd statement and completely false. But I'm not surprised.

    What about:

    Joe Thomas and the Browns?

    Joe Haden and the Browns?

    Matt Stafford and the Lions?

    Muhammed Wilkerson and the Jets?

    Robert Quinn and the Rams?

    Gerald McCoy and the Bucs?

Derrick Carr and the Raiders? Yes they were good last year but from 2003 until last year....Raiders were a "loser program".

and our own Marcel Dareus, Cordy Glenn, Kyle Williams, Eric Wood, etc
  5. After listening to that media session, I came away thinking that Sammy did an excellent job with his answers. The Buffalo media was desperately trying to goad him into giving them some sort of sound bite that they could run with. They tried over and over to get him to say he was frustrated about his contract or not having the option. He handled it well as they kept beating the dead horse. Ask the question once and move on, please.

  6. For me its easy.

Its when I first open my car door in the lot and I smell all the tailgating going on as well as everyone laughing and chatting.

I also love seeing young kids with their families at Bills games. Just knowing that they are creating memories and traditions that will last a lifetime. I just love it.

Of course the game itself is awesome but for me I love the lead up to it.

    How about you all?

I totally agree with you. I love taking my son and watching his love for the Bills grow every year as he gets older.

  7. Sorry about being a downer but he was a 5th round pic for a reason. Maybe we get lucky but I wouldn't bet on it.

Not saying he will ever be any good, but draft position isn't always a guaranteed predictor of future success. Many examples of later round players who have surprised everyone and had long, successful careers.

I'm hoping any QB has a really good camp

Agreed. Hopefully they all play great.
  8. First, why should I care? Second, he IS right you know

That is how I feel as well. He's gone. I don't care what he says.

But if I did care, I would agree with him. He will be on prime time more.

He is a good player who got paid big money by another team. I don't hate him for it and won't belittle him.

I liked him when he was here and would be happy if he stayed. He didn't. He didn't bash Buffalo or the team. He make a factual statement.

  9. Pretty good. Just not good enough to beat any .500 teams.

It's still a no from me.

Agreed. He had opportunities to make plays/extend drives to win games or put games away and he did not get it done. To this point he is similar to Fitz in that he is entertaining at times, he makes some great plays but at the end of the day he is not able to win games when the team needs it. I see him as middle of the road QB. I don't believe he can lead this team to a championship. I'd be thrilled if he proved me wrong.
  10. Had to give mine up this year after 15 years. We got them the day the Bills traded for Drew Bledsoe. I have a daughter heading off to College and a son at St Joe's. Money just isn't there for Bills Tix right now. Hopefully I will get back onboard in a few years. Always loved going to the games with my son.

  11. I have two thoughts on the matter

1.) this is how the game is played. If we don't pony up to help finance a new stadium, someone else will. And just like in Cleveland, the cost to get them back (or get another team) will only be exponentially higher.

2.) If the money isn't spent on our stadium, NYS will find another way to waste our tax money. It might as well go to something I want.

  12. trade Taylor, start CJ or Peterman, by this time next year we will know if we need to draft a QB. Thats the only other scenario.

then the Pegulas fire McD and the new GM for going 0-16. But they wait until opening day of the 2018 season to fire them because they disagreed on the final 53 man roster and the Pegulas will not stand for disagreements.
  13. If I was a betting man, come opening week, TT is your starter, TJ is the backup, Peterman is your 3rd, and Cardale goes to the practice squad.

I don't even know where this other QB came from, but my guess is, he never even see training camp...not enough work to go around for 5 QB's.

    I agree with this
