We'll see. But I wouldn't get hopes too far up. Houston is a real good bet as well. I think most of the smoke around the Bills is just like the DHop smoke a few years back. Mostly fan driven.

Yeah but how much does Houston want to spend on receivers?  They just got Kirk, have Dell, Collins, may offer Diggs another 1 yr deal …

If the Dolphins lose tonight the Bills clinch the division with a win lol. That is inconceivable. We weren’t in the playoffs until like the 11th hour of last season. Now we can clinch the week of thanksgiving

Just like in our Super Bowl years. Always had the Division wrapped up way early

  3. Kind of a two fold discussion here ....

    1. Was it genius or stupidity yesterday that Brady stubbornly stuck to the run game yesterday, when clearly it was not working.  Chiefs have not given up more than 60 yards to an RB all season.  Or was it for the purpose of running clock and just keeping the Chiefs D honest?

    2. IMHO ... we really need a more creative run game in order to be truly unstoppable.  Is it because we lack imagination, or because we don't have the style of O-Lineman capable of doing more athletic and sophisticated things.  Everything seems to be just plow left, plow right, plow forward

Good topic to start the bye week

  4. Anthony Munoz ... no question about it ... period ... end of story.  He is the Gold Standard.  I actually just saw / heard him do a Private Speaking engagement at a work related convention last month.  Truly fascinating.  His collegiate career was marred by injuries, and he was still drafted 5th overall in his class.  Was ranked the 12th best player in NFL history.  Boselli was dominant ... but Munoz was SPECIAL!  He OWNED Bruce Smith in his prime :(

I know in the K-gun offense with Kelly, they never really had too many plays scripted......guys just went out on simple routes and exploited the zones. The Bills O that we're seeing today reminds me a bit of that, only with more motion and play action thrown in.

And now that we have a decent run game, we can exploit the whole 2nd half of games controlling the clock.

    Beautiful stuff, man

The K-Gun offense basically only had 6 plays

I don't expect to see much of a difference this year relative to the last 3.  We may see growth in the way he handles his young coordinators.  Does he let them do their thing or does he take over the D and the play calling when things aren't going well?

My biggest concern with McD is that his defense has been completely exposed in our last 3 playoff losses.  Without 11 healthy starters and a strong rotation of contributors this defense is barely a speed bump for the Chiefs and Bengals when the games matter.  I don't see McD coming out with game plans that are confusing or stifling the league's premier offenses even when they're playing without several starters on their offensive line.  Meanwhile the Bengals defense made our offense look like they were playing together for the first time all year.  I'm probably wrong, but it looks like McD trots out his base defense and if that isn't working then we are properly screwed.

    This right here!

It’s called “getting outside the box” or “getting outside of your comfort zone”. The Andy Reid’s of the world LIVE outside the box and can always get creative to deal with the situation that’s in front of them.  The Chiefs are married to winning the SB, and the Bills are married to some mythical blind faith process that they believe will get them there
