I don't expect to see much of a difference this year relative to the last 3.  We may see growth in the way he handles his young coordinators.  Does he let them do their thing or does he take over the D and the play calling when things aren't going well?

My biggest concern with McD is that his defense has been completely exposed in our last 3 playoff losses.  Without 11 healthy starters and a strong rotation of contributors this defense is barely a speed bump for the Chiefs and Bengals when the games matter.  I don't see McD coming out with game plans that are confusing or stifling the league's premier offenses even when they're playing without several starters on their offensive line.  Meanwhile the Bengals defense made our offense look like they were playing together for the first time all year.  I'm probably wrong, but it looks like McD trots out his base defense and if that isn't working then we are properly screwed.

    This right here!

It’s called “getting outside the box” or “getting outside of your comfort zone”. The Andy Reid’s of the world LIVE outside the box and can always get creative to deal with the situation that’s in front of them.  The Chiefs are married to winning the SB, and the Bills are married to some mythical blind faith process that they believe will get them there

    Available

Adonai Mitchell - takes plays off

Troy Franklin - too thin & light

    Ladd McConkey - Shakir 2.0

    Keon Coleman - project

Javon Baker - lines up mostly 1 side

    Jalynn Polk

    Recent Hits

    AJ Brown

Dk Metcalf - these 2 were Legette comps

Not seeing a #1 WR available in draft, just nice role players.

Little hard to Relax when the

WR room currently bottom 5 & there doesn't appear to be a plan. Maybe we get a Hail Mary Trade for an established vet WR 1. 🤞

The plan is to continue to trust the magical mythical process ... while the Chiefs continue to be married to winning SBs

its pretty clear the team wants young affordable and controllable talent at the money positions.

trading for a wr that needs a contract and has played through his rookie deal would not make sense.

It does when you just ripped 1900 receiving yds from your Franchise QB and have no outside receivers

Chiefs did just fine without Hill.  Trust the process.

Chiefs also have a top notch head coach that isn't afraid of outside the box thinking, and isn't constantly getting in his own way

IMO we could use him as a rotational 1T or 3T.  For run defense you could have him and Daquan out there.  He’s played DE in a 3-4 too

I’m not sure Sean is open to it, but I’d like to see us more unpredictable on D

if Sweat makes it to 60, I’m not passing on him just because we signed a player to a 1 year deal.  Take him.

then you could even mix in some 3-4 looks

    Milano, Bernard inside.

    Dorian Williams,

Taron / Von / Rousseau outside  depending on what look you want to give

“I’m not sure Sean is open to it, but I’d like to see us more unpredictable on D”

… The single biggest reason we can’t get over the hump, and someone like Andy Reid …

I’ve been saying it for years … The Chiefs are married to winning Super Bowls, and the Bills are married to a “process” that they believe will get them there. Reaction and blind faith vs proaction and doing what’s necessary to beat who’s in front of you when it matters most

… but perhaps maybe this is where Bobby Babich comes into play. McD still calls the plays for this year, but Babich has “fresh creative input” in game planning 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don’t really understand Von and Knox taking pay cuts. What leverage do the Bills have in this scenarios? They can’t really cut these guys due to the dead cap. Why do the players say yes?

Because they are true team players that want to WIN in Buffalo, and have a unique set of principles

  7. Andy Reid and the Chiefs as a whole organization, are just a more mentally nimble operation. The Bills look at everything from a reactionary passive aggressive approach, while the Chiefs are always looking at creative ways to stay 1 step ahead of everyone else.  It’s why we’re “so close” but always a day late and a dollar short. It’s a glitch in the operating philosophy of the Bills
