i love the idea of swapping second round picks and picking up turner. If we could somehow pick him up and still have 4 first day picks in the draft, that would be great. It almost seems too easy of a decision, which means it is probably highly unlikely that we will go after him. But after the way this offseason has started for the bills(i.e. the serious approach to ugrade oline and trading mcgahee), i think anything is possible.

I know that he is a restricted free agent and that if we signed him, it would cost us a first and third. But with the current market value for RBs, that seems very high. What would we have to send the chargers to acquire him? I don't know if this works with the draft pick value system but it seems reasonable to me: To San Diego: Bills first round pick, Bills third round pick To Bills: Micheal Turner, Chargers first round pick Either way i think this is better option than any of the players that the bills brought in for a visit. This also assumes AJ smith will even take marvs phone call. P.S. Was AJ Smith always a prick or did he just become one in San Diego?

Leonard might be in over his head at tailback but there is no reason to think he can't touch the ball 10 - 15 times a game and make a difference. Leonard has the same potential to be effective as anyone not named lynch or peterson. Regardless, i think it is safe to assume that whomever we get at runningback will not be asked to carry the load themselves. I agree, leonard would be an interesting dynamic to add to the offense. I'm thinking chris cooley with the ability to run the ball.
