Is all this a prelude to the invasion and the cancellation of elections?

It’s perfectly ok to disagree with everything Trump does and detest the man himself without making yourself look like an unhinged goofball. Even though most of the lefties here have failed miserably at that, you should give it a try.

Then Belarus let 126 prisoners go, friends of Putin...

You don't have the guts to speak the real truth. You may end up on a list...

You don't screw your neighbours and friends for the crook across the globe.

Or should I say only maga wackos approve of this *****. You are being manipulated so trump and his buddies will own you...bend over

Tomorrow he will lie about this and you will eat it up.

    Sleep well.

When do you expect the invasion of Canada to happen? Springtime or more of a mid-summer timeframe? I worry about the US being able to wage war on two fronts.

Our once best friend placed a 30% tariffs on potash, the basis of fertilizer for all your farmers. 10 days ago, he doubled the tariff out of the blue. Your farmers complained.

Now, legit US business had negotiated prices with Canadian suppliers in a fair market system, now facing tariffs of 55 to 60%. Why? The US does not have potash in the abundance required. Potash is no industry threat. Just to punish Canada, to hit the Canadian economy who happens to purchase more US made goods and service than any country in the world, times 2.

Today the reason surfaced. Trump removed sanctions and tariffs on potash from Belarus. Helped his best friend Putin.

And you and most of your maga friends think there is no plan.

    Enjoy your new ballroom.

What are you hearing re: 51st state and cancellation of elections? Still happening, right?

Yes, right after you have an illegal war with Venezuela to establish the principle the prez doesn't need congress to approve.

Beef prices high, so give money to Argentina, cancel tariffs to ship cheap beef because tariffs are killing the beef industry in the US....make America great again eh.

    Oh….

I don't care about the dems..hate that woke crap...but maga is using socialism to cover their failed economy. The king has no clothes.

By the way, where have the posters gone everyone is afraid to be on the list  suddenly every poster has searches of their social media.

  5. Scott Besset proclaims Socialism is alive and well in the USA, with the $1000 to $2000 rebates to all Americans. Such strong liberal/socialist policies, making citizens subservient to government handouts. I know because Canada has experience with this. So enjoy the benevolence, "the king has no clothes" period in American history has begun.

  6. Where is all the talk about Venezuela, seizing ships, illegal war, acting like Somalia pirates.

Precedence is being set...when the invasion happens, war without congressional approval. Ukraine peace has already been traded off to Putin for leaving this situation alone, the Saudis have paid to make sure Venezuela does not interfear with their oil.

To full fill the destiny, who is next. Cuba, Mexico, Canada, Panama.

This is the path taken 100 years ago after WW1,  tariffs, crash of 29, ignore Germany actions, and ignore Japan, turn your back of friendly nations, then Pearl Harbor, WW2, United Nations, peace through strength and now back to 1925.

This might hurt the market for Ozempic.

So more tariffs, now on Canadian potassium fertilizer.

Now this will increase food prices....oh but wait, the wizard just pulled a socialist solution from his butt and helped to subsidize farmers with 12 billion, partially because their sales are down because Canada has stopped buying US food products.

So socialism is alive and well in the maga plan.

But wait, a real solution is possible. If a tariff on potash creates all this bs, the contracts that US companies freely bargained with Canadian suppliers should be ripped up and the Canadian suppliers should just increase prices by 25%.

It stops socialism creeping into America...thank you, you are welcome, just trying to help maga boys understand actual economics.

Biden, his family, and his son all lined their pockets with money from foreign lands That’s why they all received pardons. I have no qualms with you believing Joe Biden is a patriot. I find it interesting that you are willing to overlook what he and his family actually did to enrich themselves.

I find it interesting that you can ignore trumps missteps in life,

Joe Biden referred to Trump supporters as garbage. Hillary Clinton called them deplorables. Many might think that indicates vindictiveness. What does that do for the patriotism score for these two people? You seem to have set yourself up as the arbiter, so I would be interested in hearing what you have to say about these two fine citizens.

Biden is a Patriot for sure. He served your country for his life in many positions and his opinion of trump and his henchmen is correct. There contempt for traditions, the constitution and the other branches of government is reprehensible.

Trump has only love of the money in his pocket and the goal of vindictive opportunities. He never puts the country ahead of his personal spotlight.

For goodness sake, just give him the FIFA peace prize. Self promotion is unpatriotic.

Clinton has been patriotic. Her politics you may not like but she has been steady.

But few politicians can be patriotic these days. It seems by my simple definition that using your position to fill your pockets because of info you receive that the general population does not is unpatriotic.

But surely, the true patriots serve, unknown, sacrificing, without taking.

So you’re saying no, he wasn’t a patriot from your perspective?  You agree with Trump?

Yes, from that perspective, it was a phoney war, but neither are the guys that attacked congress. All those that took action in Desert Storm are patriots.

Neither is trump, but I would suggest Pence is.

One does not need a perfect life to be a patriot,  but doing you best fir the country and ALL citizens is compulsory. Vindictive habits towards citizens is definitely not a trait of a patriot.

Dick Cheney was accused of complicity in fabricating intelligence in a  for-profit war. That war left a million people dead, including American sons and daughters, and many more catastrophically injured.  Lives were changes, families shattered.

You are allowed an arm's length view and the perspective that comes with it...you can sit and drink a Timmy Ho's, contemplate your time at University, plan a holiday.  You use the term 'zed', your money is artistic, beautiful and colorful...and your painted ladies dance in the same suits as they were born in often artistic, beautiful and colorful.

I ask you, NB, as a casual observer,  was Dick Cheney a patriot?

Yes, in his mind for sure, but in my mind was questionable. Did Haliburton make billions? Did they convince America about WMD, yes.

Did they use 9 11 as a patriotic song, yes.

Was Saddam guilty, not about what they said.

Cheney and many got richer, the military complex got richer. Canada actually refused to send in troops. The war was used for political reasons.

For much of his life, yes, then manipulated for $$$ so, in the end  no. But then lots of supporters were not as well. Regime change is not necessarily patriotic. But the balance...they had congressional approval. Did he love his country, with out question. He did follow the constitution and the law.

So today's prez gets richer, family gets richer from people he cozied up to like Saudis, he creates wars with Venezuela, has ties to Russia. Ignores historic laws,  No Congressional approval, works for less than half the citizens, disrespect his citizens and the constitution. So no.

Please give me a break with the “when required to think” bit. You are the one that has rambled on incessantly about 51st state status and canceling of elections. Not exactly an Einstein.

you did good with your first post on the subject. Since then it’s been your normal idiocy. Oh well.

    🤣🤣🤣🤣

What is it you think you represent?

Are you enjoying let's get rich scheme with the Saudis.

Are you enjoying the hug fest with Putin.

How far does a Patriot go, maybe turning on EU democracies while potentially supporting Russia.

Maybe invading Venezuela without congress. Or Mexico...and yes potentially Canada. Can you see down the road.

MTG, sticks to the election promise and she is done, no longer a Patriot. Really. What is it. Define what maga now is, and what is a Patriot.

Convicted felons, murderers, pardoned and MTG is off the maga team for sticking to a promise. Maxwell given leniency. MTG is threatened with violence.

    Patriots...what are they.?

Are you sure you don't have Patriot vs cult confused. Jones had his followers convinced to drink the Kool aid.

    Ending drug imports...Great

Blowing up some drug boats, way over due

Not wanting to get troops on the ground in Ukraine..Bravo

Telling NATO to grow a pair abd Canada to up their game...Amen

To hell with woke...thank you trump

    Fixing illegal immigration...cheers

Trump thinks Cheney was not a patriot.

The guys who threatened to kill the VP are patriots, but Pence defended the constitution with his life threatened is not?

Cannot someone who shows decent be a Patriot.

I know we live in this stupid environment where the Republicans (like yourself) support and rationalize every single thing Trump does, and Democrats conversely criticize everything he does.

but there are still some people out there (like me) that will call him out for doing something stupid, like bending over for the Saudis, and Mamdani in one week, but still support him in general

its not phony. it’s called being a thoughtful person, instead of a tribal, “useful idiot”

Yes, but to this mob they don't include you in the list of Patriots. You are

    un-American, how dare you think!

It is beyond reason to this mob, that meeting Putin on American soil, having the Saudi Prince who his own CIA calls a murderer, and saying nice things about a guy he called worse than a socialist, commie, grace the Oval office is all proper.

Your humo(u)r is not lost, but what is a modern day Patriot. I know Paul Revere was, but today. Are you considered a Patriot, is Leh-n, how does one describe it.

Is it an  American citizen who says screw the world or hates socialists, hugs commies or hates commies, would the late Dick Cheney who led the war against WMD be a Patriot, but his daughter not be.  Is a Patriot a birthright or do you have to do something to become one.

Can you oppose government action, or demand government action.

What is a Patriot in 2025.

Is Rand Paul a Patriot, is MTGreene, can you be a democrat or a Muslim, and who makes the determination? Can you challenge or must you conform to the government of the day. The original Patriot was against the government of the day, finding it oppressive, over tax. The original Patriot found himself without say, unrepresented in his own country, faced with all powerful King., attacked by their army, on their own soil. The original Patriot rebelled against the kefal army of the, refused to take orders that were legal in the day.

So what is a Patriot in 2025.

  17. So what is the all America definition of Patriot?

Is a true Patriot different than a Patriot?

    Does it involve religion?

    Political party?

    Military service?

Position on right to have a gun?

    Where you were born?

    Which school you attended?

Must you love Greenwood and hate Dylan?

    Can you attend private school?

Must you pay taxes, or can you know how to avoid paying taxes?

Can you be a Patriot if you a convicted of sexual crimes, or be a pedo?

Must you hunt or can you work in an animal shelter?

Does a Patriot drive a Benz, or a Chevy?

Can you wear a corduroy jacket with leather patches or Must you have patches in your jacket of a militia?

Must you be a male, perhaps female? Can you be gay, or lesbian.

Who can be in the club?

Have no idea if this is true. That is my point. Tracy? He has read it? Right!

Politicians, reporters, bureaucrats,  publishers...the stories are so far apart they cannot be believed.

Since Bush's WMD stories, to Clintons I never had sex with that woman, to trump, to Biden, from Fox to CNN, nothing is ever just true, it is always just a version to influence.

    Your Sunday morning Clarice:

    FTA:

The best, most detailed description of the 28-point peace plan, what it contains, and how it was presented to Zelensky is in Jeff Childer’s substack.

I summarize it, but urge you to read it all. After four years of sending a tsunami of U.S. money to Zelensky’s Ukraine, Trump, who ran on a promise to end this war, cut off the funds and reduced the weapons flow there. He tried working with Zelensky and Putin, but the U.S. team's best efforts were going nowhere.

The U.S.-controlled anti-corruption agency NABU exposed what had long been of concern -- enormous government corruption. Zelensky's best friend and business partner, Timur Mindich, fled the country, leaving behind stacks of dollars and a gold-plated toilet.

Politico said, “The agency has charged 71 current and former MPs with corruption, 42 of them during the period between 2022 and 2025. 31 of the charged MPs still sit in the Ukrainian parliament.”

Andriy Yermak, his top aide, is under attack from Ukrainian lawmakers who demand he be fired. (Yermak appears to have found urgent affairs to attend to in Istanbul, to which he’s decamped.) Other ministers have also resigned or skedaddled out of the country, including the former defense minister, who reportedly came to the U.S., sought asylum, and offered his cooperation in the corruption scandal.

The U.S. is demanding that Ukraine give up some land and arms. Apparently, because we required his presence there, Zelensky was forced to come to Istanbul, where he was presented with the plan, a plan that had no input from European leaders and was not leaked before it was handed over to Zelensky. While Zelensky and Yermak are considering the plan in Istanbul, top U.S. generals arrived back in Kyiv, also to ‘discuss peace.’ The Russians seem to like it, and Zelensky has not complained. In fact, he tweeted, 'only President Trump and the U.S. can make this war come to an end.'

How many times before have we thought this is it? And then, somehow, Zelensky and his European buddies manage to scurry away through a crack nobody noticed? But this time, President Trump obviously orchestrated a massive strategy that the Z-man and the Euroweenies never saw coming. The carefully coordinated corruption scandal -- which nobody doubts happened -- is the political equivalent of a decapitation strike.

This is ugly political hardball; the Mafia-like offer that can’t be refused, the horse head in the bedsheets. The only reason Zelensky wasn’t himself implicated in the corruption scandal -- a scandal that includes all his best buddies -- is that they need him to sign the paper. But if he won’t sign the paper, he’s useless. And what happens to useless people?

It appears that Trump may be poised to resolve the most intractable, contentious, and difficult war on the planet since the last intractable, contentious, and difficult war that he resolved.

Everyone keeps telling Trump to force Putin to take a deal. But how? Isn’t it much easier to negotiate a deal the Russians can live with, and then force Zelensky to take it? Maybe this time, we are finally in the endgame.
