    So if the bon Jovi group has no shot then why do they keep getting propped up.

    Why is it the PR machine of the NFl sends out press releases about the Bon Jovi

    Group is back In the bidding. I hear radio up dates on NFL network on radio and TV

    ESPN reports how there a finalist. CNN even scrolled on then bottom of there news

    Shows that Bon Jovi group is meeting with the Bills trust today to buy the team.

     

    I've seen all sorts of Bills fans at at the pro football hall of fame protesting

    This group and at the Carolina Game also. His Music is not played any where

    In western ny. But do you think the NFL might have something to do with the Carolina

    Panthers playing his Music during the Bills pre-season game down there. You can keep

    believing that this process is all on the up and up but I don't believe it for a 2nd. If there's

    Away for the NFL to get a team in Toronto or LA they will do it. So keep thinking were

    Ok and no one is working behind the scenes to steal are team.

     

    Oh by the way I never changed my opinion. I support Pegula 1000 percent.

    I want him to own this team. But there's a lot of things he can't control

    And those are the things I'm concerned about. If the NFL will let the Colts

    Move to Indy and the Browns out of Cleveland. Don't think for a 2nd they

    Won't try and manipulate the process to the Toronto groups favor.

    The NFL won't feel bad if the Bills Move to Toronto. They already feel Toronto

    Is in the Buffalo Market. They will just say the fans can still seem there team play.

    It's a short drive to Toronto. They won't look at it as a city losing a team because

    The bills will be very close to home and kept in the same Market.

    The NFL only cares about one thing and one thing only. The all mighty dollar.

    Everything you said is true. I can't disagree. In the first two years, Pegula kept Ruff and Regier. Pegula was consistent in defending R&R and placed the blame on previous ownership with his "maybe someone was holding the painter's hand while they were doing the painting" quote. I give Pegula full credit for keeping Ruff and Regier while deflecting responsibility.

     

    I also give Pegula credit for opening up his checkbook. He gave Regier the financial resources to go after top free agents, and Pegula was even personally involved in recruiting. Whether or not Pegula or Regier deserve credit or blame, the effort netted the team Brad Boyes, Jordan Leopold, Robyn Regehr, Ville Leino, Christian Ehrhoff, and Cody Hodgson the first year. They missed out on Brad Richards, but the Sabres were trying their best to win throughout the 2011-2012 season, and for that I give them credit.

     

    No one can refute Pegula's ability to splash the cash. He gave Ruff a multi-year contract extension 22 months before firinghim. He gave Darcy a multi-year contract extension just 10 months before firing him. He signed Rolston to a multi year contract just six months before firinghim. It's no surprise, though, that Pat Lafontaine, sets the benchmark, at four months. Lafontaine holds a lot of Sabres records. He's the Sabres' Jim Kelly.

     

    But I also give Pegula credit for creating the strategy that the Sabres used this past year. The team successfully lost this past year. It also looks like he's positioned the team to successfully lose this coming year. I don't think the skill lies in losing, though, because anyone can lose if they really try. The amazing skill, and thing that sets Pegula apart, is his ability to get fans and the media behind him in that losing effort. He's created a real culture of losing in this town, and for that he deserves full credit. I'd expect the same sort of success with the Bills.

    Hmmm...perhaps they've improved; the last few times I went they were very run-of-the-mill.

     

     

     

    Sorry. I've had their wings probably 2 dozen times in my life, and each time they are soggy, slimy, and too vinegary.

     

    I like a wing that's crispy and spicy. That's why Elmo's will always be #1 for me...aside from the variety of flavors, they fry, sauce, and then grill their wings. They stay nice and saucy but retain their perfect crispiness. The other two places do them quite well also.

     

    You can't order Duff's wings "Hot", as it comes in a wing sauce soup, so I do agree with you on that menu option. Their "medium-hot" is the same sauce but saucy not soupy and it's a plump and very crispy Hot chicken wing, the perfect Buffalo Style Hot Chicken wing in my opinion. I actually started a facebook page where I was reviewing chicken wings, but I got bored with it.

     

    Some other decent options for wings....

     

    9-11 Tavern in South Buffalo, Their hot wings are not hot though

    Mammosers in Hamburg, Not a traditional Buffalo Style wing, but a good and interesting flavor

    Doc Sullivans in South Buffalo, have a wing called the Smitty Wing, it's a South Buffalo thing.

     

    Avoid Anchor Bar at all costs - Horrible!

    It's August, the day after the first BIlls preseason game and after Andre Reed's induction into the Hall of Fame. Oh, and the BIlls are for sale and Bon Jovi wants to buy them and move them to Toronto.

     

    TIME TO TALK HOCKEY FOR TWO HOURS!

     

    Why are you hating on the Sabres when you literally have their logo in your profile picture?

     

    I am not hating on the Sabres, just don't think WGR needs to talk hockey in July and August and needs to put the NHL in perspective to the NFL, The NHL is barely a major league sport.
